Description
This is an optional addon to Mass Effect Civilizations - Mass Relays that replaces vanilla Wormholes with Mass Relay graphics.

Please keep it mind that this is NOT a standalone mod. Mass Effect Civilizations - Mass Relays is required for it to function as it contains all the necessary art assets.






  • This mod overrides one vanilla files in \gfx\models\add_ons\: _add_ons_entities

Small bug report, nothing major and given how the game handles these I suspect a fix may not be possible, but because Shroud Tunnels use the wormhole graphics, this mod inadvertently replaces shroud tunnels with relays, without doing the same for their popup box art or localisation strings.

This is cool. Any plans for making a version for the L-gates? Relays everywhere.

It was requested and we thought it was a good idea. Neither requires a lot of maintenance beyond bumping the supported version every patch so keeping them modular isn't inconvenient.

No offence but what is the point of this mod, why not just use
(Mass Effect Civilisations - Mass Relays 1.2.0+) and turn off wormholes?

Yes, it still works, an update isn't necessary. We'll upload a version bump at some point but right now we're too busy updating Elves of Stellaris and MEC: Asari.

or you can add omega 4 relay model to L-claster gateways

@Cpt. Kirk: Nuh, we're saving that for the actual Omega 4 relay in our WIP Omega project, we want it to be unique.

Wormhole-relays are easily distinguishable by their icon (which at the level of zoom the game is normally played is more relevant to gameplay than any feature of the model)
