is that ment to be possible?
Ah. Now I see.
Thank you for explaining it.
Counter-Strike: Source
Half-Life 2: Episode One , Two
(I don't know if you really knew or not, so I'll explain it) The reason that Garry's Mod requires the respective games to work is because the assets from those games are not universally shared amongst all Valve titles, they were packed so that specific games could have access to them, but Garry's Mod is capable of running all of these assets together (permitting you have a good enough computer to run the game with all of the assets loaded). That's not to say that other Valve games can't run the assets, it would just be if you mounted those games onto each other the code and scripts for certain events would not be present, thus not everything would work correctly.
Yeah it requires Half Life 2: Episode 1 & 2 in order to not see missing textures and stuff.
But if you have those mounted on your Garry's Mod, you should have no problem.
Sadly, i don't have those games, so if I subscribe to this, i'll just get missing textures.
