Military Uniforms

Description
Service guarantees citizenship!

This mod provides an aesthetic overhaul to human military leaders and military empires with a specific focus on making "citizen service" come to life. Leaders in such societies are now always a part of the military. Are you doing your part?

Leader level pips have been added to uniforms! Leaders will gain a pip for each level up to the max of ten. These pips are visible on military uniforms once the leader reaches level two or higher. Leaders that become rulers or return back to their previous job will switch clothing, but still retain all their pips. Women have also been given an additional hairstyle. Individual pops have also been given new clothes based on their job.

Note: You may need to refresh leader windows, switch leaders, or reload a game for leader pips to appear correctly in some instances. This is a limitation of the Stellaris engine itself.

Current Uniform Collection

Ruler: New black uniform with eagle that will only be worn by the ruler of a (non-imperial) military government.

Admiral: Same blue uniform.

General: Replaces old general uniform with a green admiral version. Looks better.

Governor: New red uniform that will only appear if you have a military government.

Scientist: New teal uniform only for scientists working under a military government.

Also, check out my haircut mod since the "man bun" should not exist in 2200.

And if they tried to make a Stellaris 2 at this point they would probably be accused of a cash grab lol
unless they somehow make it very different im not sure how well received it would be as apposed to just changing the game mechanics each addition which some also hate

@Android Identity Sorry man, but updating art assets for a 6 year old game is pretty low on my list. We should really be playing Stellaris 2 by now.

You boys think we'll ever get an update for the new human portraits for this?

Understandable, thanks for your work Arnovitz!

@Bittersweet That's because I didn't code for anything over level 10. I just bought all the recent DLC's and will try to get back into Stellaris after 2 years. I need to rework all my uniform mods. May take awhile, but I'll look into it.

This mod is great, I like how is added a star to the uniform etc. However, I noticed that as soon as my admiral reaches level 11 for example, it changes outfit to a civilian. Is that something you could look into? I assume this is because I have mods that allow my admirals and others level up further after level 10. Can you somehow stop changing outfit after level 10?

@Brucculi Usually that is the case. The authoritarian ethic is not necessary. However, sometimes certain civics can override the ethics as to whether it is a true military government.
