Hi all! Welcome to my first asset!

Background:

Aonei Brigde is a custom bridge designed / modelled by myself. It was to be placed into my map of The Cove city, conneting an island to the mainland.

The bridge design aims at creating a curved long-span bridge to suit local topography. Cable Stayed design is chosen to allow the utilization of curve deck. The twin bridge towers rises at 230-meters tall, with blue link bridges in between, and are inclined against the deck to balance the weight out.

How to Use:

This bridge is an eye-candy - you get the tower, cable and deck, but no road path. You are free to assign any type of road on the deck as you see fit. The curved deck is a part of a circle, so normal curve tool should be good enough for laying roads above.

The bridge may be used as a module, meaning you can place a number of towers next to each other to compose a larger bridge. You may take reference from the asset images.

The tower is to be placed on water. With Anarchy Mod it can be placed anywhere. To get the best results, Terraform Mods are recommended to better control the deck height.

Cost: 250,000
Maintenance: 50/week
Tris & LOD: See asset images.
Dependency: NONE except AFTER DARK DLC for night lighting effect.

Note:

This is a new version of Aonie Bridge. The original one failed due to unknown reason. After a week of attempted repair, the old version simply won't work. This version is a re-upload of the previous Aonei Bridge. I do apologize for any inconvinence caused for those who downloaded the old version.

for some reasons, it doesn't want to appear on my map of Elena Falls V2, after i deleted the "old" version of the bridge.

I updated the asset for Parklife DLC. I replaced the ParkAI with PowerplantAI.
The bridge should now work without problems with the DLC.

I'd buy the new DLC or donate to anyone who can fix this bridge for me (ie: park maintenance vechiles deploy while this bridge is present on the map). It isn't possible for me to fix it with the asset editor as far as I can tell. The problem is present in the sub-buildings, not the main asset model. The asset needs rebuilt and recoded. Even the mods for asset editor don't seem to allow sub-building edits.

Well that might be a problem. It is truth that some large assets which using sub buildings will not appear fully when turned into PO. In this case I'm affraid that PO wont help you with very large assets :( Two options are 1) wait for fix 2) fix it yourself in asset editor with some asset update guide.

@Overlord Tried out PO mod but ran into an issue where converting an object into a PO will remove all the sub-buildings. In this case it removes all the support cables and support leaving only the main bridge pillar. Don't suppose you know how to preserve sub-buildings when creating PO's? The sub-buildings are actually what is causing the glitch with the asset.

It is a great mod which helps you to deal with these situations. For example I have old stadium asset which is really cool but it is very small. Thanks to procedural object mode I scaled it to twice its original size. And it is perfect fit for my city :) Of course turning any asset into procedural object means that this asset loses its functionality. But bridges in CSL are only eye candy they dont actually hold the road so with bridges it does not matter at all.

Yep, for certain this bridge is not Park Life DLC compatible. When placed the park vechiles dont spawn but as soon as you delete the bridge the vechiles begin to spawn normally. Fingers crossed for an update. This bridge is truly amazing and beautiful!
