Apparently, there's no Community Workshop for Skyrim... eh... what?
I'm trying to find the Skyrim 202x texture mod on the workshop but am having a hard time finding it. So I tried searching Google. One of the first hits for Steam is an early 2024 discussion where multiple people are claiming that there is no Community Workshop for Skyrim and that you have to go to Nexus to get mods! Uh... what? Is the Steam Workshop for Skyrim new or something? The discussion (linked below) is from January 2024 IE less than a year old.

I've found Nexus to be difficult to navigate and confusing as well as slow bc they want you to pay which is why I want to deal with Workshop.

So to wrap this up, am I hallucinating or are the people in the linked discussion talking about something else that I'm not getting? Assuming I'm not hallucinating and there is a Skyrim Steam Workshop, is the Skyrim 202x mod available on the Workshop? If so, can someone link it pls as I cannot find it for the life of me. Thanks in advance.

There is a workshop on Steam, but only for the old Skyrim game, not for the newer Skyrim SE. game. So if your mod is for SE you won't find it here.

Skyrim SE has it's own Bethesda Mods service for those who do not wish to use external sources.

I have personally found workshop type solutions hard to deal with, so I stick with external sources and mod managers. Of course Nexus encourages paid option: Blacktree Gaming LTD is a company in UK.
