Swarm Cache
I am trying UDK but when I go to build all or lighting I get an error with Swarm cache:

Please update the SwarmAgent.exe.config file in your binaries folder.

An absolute noob to all of this, any ideas what I am doing wrong?

this was in BlackEagles guide it should fix the problem
fortunately I have never had such an error/I had worse but fixed my problem by taking ownership of my c drive to enable admin read and write access to program files! i had to fix windows defender thinking administrator was a guest so i could save a udk file in mod folder without access denied errors:)

I Tried Compiling, But "Swarm" Won't Run?

Swarms don't run, they fly...unless it's a Zergling swarm, hmm...bah, anyway!

This "Swarm Agent" is the tool the Unreal Engine uses to compute lighting and it's pretty essential. If it doesn't run on your machine, it's probably your Anti-Virus or something else blocking it.
If it's not that, then it's a compatibility issue with your machine. Best turn to ol' man Google to show you the way out of the dungeon, as I myself am not sure what would be the exact cause.

Could Not Create Cache Folder(Swarm)

Another Swarm one.
When the swarm window appears, click on its settings tab. Change the cache folder to where your Viscera Cleanup Detail is installed.
Set the directory to "Binaries\SwarmCache\".
This is probably a good idea even if you don't have the problem.

Thanks A JANITOR that worked!

I created a "SwarmCache" folder in Binares, copied the file address and pasted it into the location in the Swarm settings window and worked instantly.

Again, thanks.
