Steam Workshop?
The store page advertises workshop access but I can't access it. Is it falsely advertised?

They removed the workshop after people bought the game.

Last I checked that's pretty illegal.

Anyway, they ran into legal issues with the Workshop, and had to close it off. According to Starrock, they are still dealing with said legal issues, but hope to reopen it soon.

Here's the announcement where they discuss it

We don't use the bar exam here. In any case the law is pretty crystal clear on false advertisement.

I was wondering the same thing on where the workshop is, this whole affair seems pretty shonky.

As stated above, legal issues (I guess with GW), but it did have the workshop open up to not so long ago, not many mods there tho, sadly, only ones that came to mind where the RT version of the Pathfinder games Toybox, a VR mod, and a character portrait patch, still, sad it's gone.

You would think breaking the law would be a more serious legal issue.

Not going to share my bar number, but there is a lot of wiggle room in the law. At least in the US consumer protection law is little and far between when it comes to things like this. You would most likely have to sue under a tort, get it kicked to arbitration, and be told to pound sand.

is that in the main directory?

I don't know where that file is on various platforms, that's why I said "find". In my case (flatpak), it was in `.var/app/com.valvesoftware.Steam/data/Steam/steamapps/appworkshop_2186680.acf`. It should be somewhere in your Steam installation or user data.
