Firstly:

I was thinking of a mod which would add ships from BSGO (Battlestar Galactica online) The ships would be:

(Any suggestions from others would be appreciated)

Corvettes: Scythe/Maul | Banshee/Wraith
Destroyers: Glaive/Halberd | Spectre/Liche
Cruisers: Vanir/Jotunn | Hel/Jormung
Battleships: Aesir/Gungnir | Fenrir/Nidhogg
Titans: Pegasus | Galactica
Constructor: Gemini Freighter | Cylon Freighter
Science Ship: Zephyr | Cylon Mining Ship (looks cool)
Colony Ships: Passenger Liner/Zephyr | Ressurection Ship

Custom ship Sections:

(Choose the other components and stats, advanced ship designs require a technology, and have better stats than their non-advanced counterparts)

Corvettes:
Scythe/Banshee (4 M Weapon, faster but less health/armour)
Maul/Wraith (4 M Weapon, more health/armour but slower)
Advanced Scythe/Banshee (6 M Weapon, faster but less health/armour)
Advanced Maul/Wraith (6 M Weapon, more health/armour but slower)

Destroyers:
Glaive/Spectre (6 M Weapon, support slot, fleet range bonus)
Halberd/Liche (6 M Weapon, average everything)
Advanced Glaive/Spectre (7 M Weapon, support slot, larger fleet range bonus)
Advanced Halberd/Liche (7 M Weapon, average everything)

Cruisers:
Vanir/Hel (6 L Weapon, 2 support slots, damage, fire rate, range and speed buffs)
Jotunn/Jormung (6 L Weapon, lots of health/armour, but alot slower)
Advanced Vanir/Hel (8 L Weapon, 2 support slots, larger damage, fire rate, range and speed buffs)
Advanced Jotunn/Jormung (8 L Weapon, lots of health/armour, but alot slower)

Battleships:
Aesir/Fenrir (8 L Weapon, faster)
Gungnir/Nidhogg (8 L Weapon, average stats)
Advanced Aesir/Fenrir (9 L Weapon, faster)
Advanced Gungnir/Nidhogg (9 L Weapon, average stats)

Titans:
Pegasus (12 L Weapon, 4 hangar slots tonnes of health/armour)
Basestar (12 L Weapon, 4 hangar slots tonnes of health/armour)

Custom Weapons:

(Cannon shells are pinky-red for Colonials, and Blue for Cylons)

Strike Craft:
Fighter (Viper Mk.2/ Raider) Equiped with 1 Autocannon
Bomber (Raptor/ Heavy Raider) Equiped with 1 Missile
Advanced Fighter (Viper Mk.7/ War Raider) Equiped with 2 Autocannons
Advanced Bomber (Rhino/ Marauder) Equiped with 2 Missiles

The next weapons are for all slots, and both factions:

Cannons:

Long Range Cannon (Less damage/rate of fire, but longer range)
Medium Cannon (Average damage/range)
Rapid Fire Cannon (Higher Damage/rate of fire, but less range)

Missiles:

Long Range Missile (Less damage, very long range)
Medium Missile (Average damage and range)

Defensive weapons (for normal slots though, and only size L)

Point defense (AoE damage or an autocannon that targets missiles/strike craft)
Flak Battery (AoE damage or a cannon that targets missiles/strike craft)

All weapons can target missiles and strike craft, but have a much lower chance of hitting them. and are lower priority (will only target them if nothing else is in range)

Upgraded escort designs (unlocks destroyers) ENG
Basic line designs (unlocks cruisers) ENG
Upgraded line designs (unlocks battleships) ENG
Capitol class ships (unlocks titans) ENG
Advanced escort designs (unlocks the advanced corvette/destroyer sections) ENG
Advanced line designs (unlocks the advanced cruiser/battleship sections) ENG

This is just a suggestion (quite a complex one) of ideas for a ship mod. Preferably, the mod would disable other weapons, sections and weapon technologies (apart from the infinite technologies for cannons and missiles) For stations or other ships I have left out, Colonials will have mamallian ships, and Cylons will have black and red fallen empire ships.

I would enjoy an enhanced filter for resettlement. For instance, if I apply a genetic enhancement to a population, I would like to see the buildings where they would be most helpful, rather than by planet. I would think that this is already a mod, but I haven't been able to find it. I'm looking for resettlement screen to have a dropdown menu for planet type, building, resource, race, and any other option those with more experience could think of. Scrolling through planets to look for optimal resettlement is cumbersome. Please forgive my post if there is already a mod for this that I've overlooked.

I've been looking forward to the galactica strike ships. I have yet to find a mod to include a select set of strikes ship except the starwars mods. I use to play bsgo so i understand the ship designs. The problem I have with such a mod would be Jotuun, Aesir, and Gungnir would technically be of the same class. You can argue that they are cruisers. I'm partial to those being strictly battleships. However, might i suggest that you look into Galactica Deadlock or some of the Galactica games from the Playstation. From the playstation the strike ship designs and roles include some not covered from the show or the online adaptation. From the Deadlock series the Galactica and Pegasus are names from two different classes of ships. Of course, that mod is available in workshop. For example, The Artemis and Janus are classes of their own to mirror the Galactica. More specifically the Pegasus is a Mercury class which is the upgraded class to the Jupiter class which; aka the Battlestar Galactica. It would be interesting to see a complete mod to include both series that works. The Youtube series Drydock does a good job talking about ships and has done a good job in covering the BSG series including Galactica and Pegasus. They also covered a good extent of ships in the deadlock games as well. If you are willing to reach out to the other modder for how to do this I don't imagine it would be difficult for cooperation between you. Otherwise you would be at a competition.

I wouldn't argue that the Jotunn is a different class to the Gungnir, but I made it so the ships costing cubits are a class higher, as there are 4 ship classes in Stellaris, but only 2 in BSGO (if you ignore titans in Stellaris, and strikes/capital in BSGO) It was that you'd unlock the Gungir/Aesir after unlocking the Jotunn/Vanir
