March 6, 2014 - Astral Projection

Completely new UI. Work in progress, but all functionality from the old UI is intact or streamlined and lots of new functionality. Leave feedback here if you wish.

The new UI scales to all resolutions, so we are especially interested in any UI anomalies if you run an uncommon screen resolution. If something looks weird, please let us know.

Public release date is as soon as we can ensure this version is relatively bug free.

October 13, 2013 - Astral Projection

We are currently re-doing the UI completely. After the UI overhaul and a few other upgrades the game will go public on Steam. Then what? Here's the plan.

- GAR will be changed over to a voxel-based rendering engine with more RPG elements added and planetary landing
- a new single player / coop campaign will be included with the new engine
- the editor will be included so players can design their own galaxies, systems, NPCs, missions, ships, stations, enemies, etc. and share them with everyone

On a side note XNA, the Microsoft API on which the game was built, is pretty much dead. MS killed it a lot of people are unhappy about it. Thus, we will likely change over to MonoGame to preserve as much source code as possible.
