I understand it's a "lighter" game. I just don't see anything wrong with that, as long as the controls work well, any game can be on any platform. :)

Ugh... I hate how phones/ipads have ruined gaming. A game like this would have ALWAYS been released on PC. sick of all the comments I read about "Mobile App"

I agree with Sewn Lips. It looks like a very fun game for mobile devices, with touchscreen, but it's gonna be a pain having to point at the small ball with your mouse cursor. One thing you can do, is bind the mouse to the ball, so with every move of the cursor, the ball moves.

PC? Not feeling it. For iPad or anything particular portable small device, I would most definitely feel interested. It'll be interesting instead of touching the ball swinging it but to shake/tilt or something in that matter for the small devices. Now that's something fun if not I'll still go ahead and buy it for the smaller devices like the iPad, iTouch, iPhone, smart phones and etc.

Right now the PC Windows version is done and we're porting the game to Win8 and iOS, we want to launch the game on several platforms at once.

@ANlevant es: DJ Skully - no plans right now for Linux. We just aren't even remotely experienced about it to make a port for Linux. In fact, DarthMasta knows better than me and I might be saying nonsense, but I'm not even sure an XNA game can run on Linux. I don't know anything about Linux at all, and I'm afraid we would just consume time and money and do a bad job.

I have a suggestion: it would be great to have a power bar: the longer you keep the mouse button down, the longer the power bar becomes, increasing the distance the ball reaches.
This way there would be a more accurate shooting control.

Plays lots better now by clicking instead of dragging. I think it would work great on mobile devices too.

Would this be a cheaper title? I really wish STEAM would release sales stats especially on indie games. I have a feeling you would make far more money on a title like this at a sub $5 price point, but STEAM tends to push towards the $10 to $15 range and I have trouble believing this price point maximizes sales and more importantly maximizes profit. Either way they know more than me so I must be missing something in the contractual agreement with indie developers.

I love the music, but this game doesn't seem to offer any kind of actual gameplay. I'd pay more for the soundtrack than the game based on what has been shown so far.

@SilentBoy741: thank you for the feedback! We are indeed planning to do an iPad version, however I'm not so sure on tilt controls. I have an iPad and an iPhone and have never liked tilt-based controls in games.

For the PC, I really don't see myself playing this. The gameplay is much too simplistic.


The suggestion that shockwavelover gave you earlier was pure genius: a version for the iPad, where you move the ball by tilting. Imagine, you hold the iPad flat like a pizza pan or serving tray, looking down into it. You move the ball not by flicking it with your fingers, but changing the degree of tilt on the Ipad. More tilt means more speed and power. Different tilt angle changes the ball's direction. Your game becomes unique by utilizing a feature that no other platform can do: actual gravity-based, real-world physics based gameplay.

I'm not saying abandon the PC version, even though it's not for me, but a special iPad-only version is where this game would really shine.

@WHARRGARBL yes, the controls are mouse based. There are hotkeys for a few functions, but i'd say 95% of the game is mouse controlled.

As we've said before, phone / tablet versions will come after the PC version is done.

do you have to use the mouse for everything? I'd rather use a hotkey for a powerup and whatever else there is to this game other than that, although I'd rather play this on an iPad not a PC.

@MOM4Evr thank you for the kind comments! It was DarthMasta who contacted you with that alternative controls build. I'm glad you found it improved the play experience.

We have implemented it as an alternate control scheme, which can be activated on the Settings screen. So it will definitely be present in the full version, which will be available soon!

A while ago, one of you guys (whom I accidentally de-friended, sorry about that... I forgot your name or I'd refriend you) gave me a spacebar-controlled demo build, because I had mentioned my carpal tunnel. I finally got around to playing it, and I must say it was quite fun. A very tactical physics-based game, which I don't see very many of. Even for a hardcore gamer (read: casual-game-hater) like myself, it came across as well-polished and engaging. I would argue that this is a far better control scheme for PC than the default click-and-drag, so definitely make this an option in the final version, or even the default. Anyways, +1 from me.

@Masakari I totally agree with you on FPS and zombies, but the problem is that the gameplay and fun that this game would bring seems completelly out of place in PC and steam. Please bring it to iPad/iPhone/Android with a touch interface, and the time-free gameplay. It would be totally awesome ;)

Totally agree with Masakari on the "zombies and FPS" comment, but I can't vote for this. I can play anything remotely like it for free at , , , ect. This isn't meaty enough in content to compete against other indie titles. It's not even ready to compete with all the F2P browser games!

I like puzzle games. My favorite is Tetris. While this game is far from being on the same wave lenght as tetris I can see some possibilities with it. I dont care for the music it is a bit loud for the ambience but I believe it has possibilities in the puzzle game market. Don't expect a high price tag or millions of sales but it is a nice game to break into the puzzle market with. If puzzle games are going to be your forte then study the successful ones closely and ask what it is they have done and you have not and apply what you learn then possibly one of your next games could be a real success. I will give this a yes vote as I am curious how far you are willing to go to make a really great puzzle game.
