Is there any way you could not include textures? This mod is everything that I want, since summoning is out of the way for me, and I have to keep re-equipping my weapons every time and then again when I dismount -.-

Thing is I can't use textures from a mod from Nexus with this and I'm just not happy with how he looks :(

Nice mod I think one little touch that might be neat to add is the custom sounds he has for when he runs. I did like that extra little feature.

Everything works now :D. The CTD was NOTHING to do with this mod and was down to some base skyrim nifs that I had unwittingly overwritten.
I can confirm that this mod does work on vanilla skyrim.
Dawnguard DLC is not required for this mod to work. AWESOME.

No, it's just a reskin of shadowmere. Speed is 1.25 insteand of 1.

Textures are working now and i can approach it. I now get Crash To Desktop when I mount the horse. Any ideas as to why? I'll have a look at it in CK see if theres any obvious issues my end. Does this horse have any new animations or abilities compared to horses of Vanilla skyrim? Maybe some animation files arent being copied across?

Doesn't work for me. Horse is untextured and causes crash to desktop when i approach it. I do not have the Dawnguard DLC
