Well it has been over a decade since this mod's release so I guess it is more of a feature than a bug at this point

Weird. A new character shouldn't be a part of the Forsworn faction until they do that Forsworn quest. Not sure why they'd be doing the battle cry,

love the mod so much it works great with my og breton character who I wanted to be forsworn since 2013 BUT I did start a new game as a Nord character and she'll make forsworn battle cries even though I havent been to the reach yet. still great mod

Awesome to hear it! I love a good roleplay focused playthrough! If I pick up Skyrim again I will certainly be giving that gear mod a download. It looks great!

P.S. I just took a stroll through Hag's End to collect my Slow Time Shout. It's like a proper town with enchanting, alchemy, blacksmith. The Hargravens and witches were also friendly ./hugs

2023 and the Forsworn will still claim what is rightfully ours! Get the Banditry: Forsworn Gear mod and complete your transformation. I also run the Younger Breton mod and the Forsworn weapons mod (my axe is 11 damage lower than Dragon but it's worth it) Running a Frost based one hand axe, one hand caster (dest/conj/adapt)

Just visited The Reach on the character I talked about before, it is in fact The Forsworn Conspiracy that makes Forsworn passive.

Sorry, I haven't played in ages. Does it at least make Forsworn friendly at all for you? If not, you should try my file on the Nexus that's called "Become Forsworn". I've heard that it still works as long as you're not on Special Edition I guess. That one isn't locked to any quest and just automatically puts you into the Forsworn faction. I also have a file on the Nexus that will make everyone BUT the Forsworn hate you. Last I heard all of those files still work. You could give it a shot if you care enough and don't mind downloading off of Steam. I don't recall anyone hating you after using this mod. I purposefully made it so that you could still play the game without people attacking you for being Forsworn.

Ok thanks. Pretty sure it is the prison break quest, since I recently did the conspiracy quest on one character without realising what I was doing and there wasn't any side you could take by the time it was completed (currently very wanted in morthal rn, but it fits my character to have a whole city that wants me dead). Looking forward to using this on my next one.

It may be that quest but I honestly can not remember. I believe when I created the mod I made it add you to the Forsworn faction after you completed the Forsworn Conspiracy but you may be right because that does sound familiar. All I remember is that once you help the Forsworn in that quest I made it so that they no longer attack you. That way you can spawn Forsworn and use mods to make them followers if you're into roleplaying like that.

Is the quest that lets you join them the same one as the one that just makes the one camp passive? Earlier in the thread you said it was The Forsworn Conspiracy, but I think the quest that comes right after it, No One Escapes Cidhna Mine, is the one in vanilla, is that right? Not a big deal either way, just curious if I have to turn the mod off for characters who haven't sided with them. Quest order aside, I don't understand why it doesn't work like this in vanilla, so glad there's a mod for it.

I love this mod so much for adding the Forsworn voice clips. It was such a nice surprise to hear my character yelling "For the Reach!" while hunting horkers, lol.

There was a mod on the Nexus like that but it's pretty old now. I would check there.

It should be automatic. This is a simple mod. Finish the quest and then the Forsworn will not attack you any more. They will greet you with pleasantries. Everything past that is on your own head canon!

If you are ok with roleplaying in your head then you can already conquer skyrim as the forsworn and become high king with a combination of console commands and mods. It's been a long time since I have played Skyrim so I don't really remember the combination of mods/console commands I used (in addition to this mod) but I've done close to what you have described, just without the quest line.

ay could you expand this mod or convince another modder to create a forsworn mod. ive scoured every site that distributes skyrim modes and the only forsworn quest mods i found were poorly voice acted and broken.

i know it seems too ambitious but i would love a mod that would allow you to side with and conquere skyrim with the forsworn. mayby even adding multiple faction leader choices like red eagle or Madanach to rule rule over skyrim.

Yes, I made this mod four years ago when the game was first released. The workshop was bare and I needed a way to roleplay as Forsworn and so did many others. I am sure there are plenty of other Forsworn mods by now that do more.

What does this mod even do? Just make forsworn not attack you?

well i fixed it,kinda.I uninstalled the forsworn legacy mod and the forsworn in the hideout dont attack me anymore but the one iv recruited is always being a douche and attacks friendly forsworns for no reason but iv managed to fix that by telling him to wait outside the hideout

I'm not sure why that would be. Could be any number of things but this mod is compatible with any "recruit anyone" mod. At least the ones I'm aware of

You would need an "any one can be your companion" type mod. There's a couple different ones out there. I also think there is a console command but I am not entirely sure what it is anymore.

If you've finished the quest then you shouldn't be attacked by Forsworn anymore. It has put you in the Forsworn faction.
