it's awesome to see a team that does proper changes to the game based on the platform, instead of submitting their mobile game directly onto Steam!

We are running the Game Development World Championship and would like to see you participate. It's good for your visibility and won't cost you a penny.

You can check it out at .

Good luck with the development!

Ummm... I would play this game on PC or mobile. Love it! Really like all the different modes you can play, micro mode is one of my faves.

@azirphaeli Awesome, thanks :)

I like your honesty, and this is far from the worst gae I've seen. I'll give you a chance.

This game is fun. I played it once. I thought it looked like tetris until I played it. it feels completely different, it's totally it's own thing. It feels destructive and satisfying. It feels more like an action game than a puzzle game to me.

@ಠ_ಠ Exil - No ads for QuadraDigger, for any version, ever. I hate ads. I'd rather have zero revenue than put a single ad in the game.
Baroque Creations  [author] Jan 31, 2017 @ 1:30pm
@azirphaeli @papafle @Dragon A lot of people have brought this topic up, so I hope that video clarifies some things. I've started a discussion page for this issue - any criticism or suggestions is very welcome there! I take feedback very seriously and chances are I'll fix what you mention (unless it's something huge like "make this an MMO" :P).

Desktop Version Changes / Features

Baroque Creations  [author] Jan 31, 2017 @ 1:28pm
@azirphaeli @papafle @Dragon No, QuadraDigger is not a mobile port. I whipped up a video this morning with gameplay footage and commentary to address this directly.

QuadraDigger - Q&A, Grandmaster-Level Gameplay

(I also added the video to the Greenlight page - it's the second one.)

TLDW: The game works great for both platforms, so I developed it for Desktop and Mobile in parallel. The Desktop version offers multiplayer, *much* tighter mechanics, and there's potential for some exclusive / competitive game modes if there's enough demand for it. The Mobile version is great for shorter games during my morning commute, although it plays much better with a gamepad - I doubt you'll see Grandmaster mode unlocked on a phone ;)

One thing I forgot to mention is that the UI is still a bit sparse when playing fullscreen. That's something I'd like to fix.

Mobile port, downvote.
ಠ_ಠ Exil Jan 31, 2017 @ 2:57am
Eh, I can find similar games on Mobile and then for free (actual free - no ads) on ArmorGames. No thanks.

It's literally just a mobile game. I can even see the buttons and everything. Downvoted. This mobile garbage doesn't belong on Greenlight, let alone Steam. Try contacting Kongregate, maybe they'll hire you. Downvoted.

Good ish?
Dragon Jan 30, 2017 @ 10:00pm
No thanks. Looks like a straight mobile dump.
Baroque Creations  [author] Jan 30, 2017 @ 1:27pm
@Veskaida @wilco64256 This topic will probably come up over and over again, so here's a discussion to get the ball rolling . If you have any feedback to improve the desktop version, please leave it there! :)
Baroque Creations  [author] Jan 30, 2017 @ 1:03pm
@Veskaida @wilco64256 For reference, here's what the game looks like fullscreen []. The gameplay is vertical, like a lot of puzzle games, so there's not much else to do with the sides of the screen anyway unless I bombard the player with metrics and images. Side-by-side two player competitive mode is definitely an option, though, if there's demand for it!
Baroque Creations  [author] Jan 30, 2017 @ 12:57pm
@Veskaida @wilco64256 Yeah, I anticipate that to turn a lot of people off at the moment. The game was developed for both desktop & mobile simultaneously, which is definitely reflected from the UI. The control overlay can be resized / turned off - I just think it looks cool to watch :)
wilco64256 Jan 30, 2017 @ 12:41pm
Obvious mobile port with still present touch screen controls. No thanks.
Veskaida Jan 30, 2017 @ 12:08pm
The game looks pretty good. It's clearly competantly made and has had a lot of effort put into small details. It looks very polished, like a slightly different and more explodey version of Tetris.

My biggest gripe is with the resolution of the gameplay area. It really does not present itself ATM as being made for a PC market, and that definitely is going to turn off a lot of people.

("Notifications" are for messages like, "You reached 250m!", "Speed up!", etc. NOT push notifications to your desktop.)

@Baroque Creations
Cool :)
Baroque Creations  [author] Jan 30, 2017 @ 12:03pm
Anyone else have any options they'd like to customize that they don't see? Here's the current options menu, which is pretty minimal. []

Resolution settings will be there for sure, btw, I just haven't gotten around to making the menu for it yet :)
Baroque Creations  [author] Jan 30, 2017 @ 11:45am
@FerrousBueller Bam, done. [] :)
Baroque Creations  [author] Jan 30, 2017 @ 11:35am
@FerrousBueller Ah you just reminded me I'd planned to make an option to disable that, along with shaking effects.
FerrousBueller Jan 30, 2017 @ 11:17am
Is the whole screen flash effect really necessary? I find it distracting and difficult to look at for any length of time.
cwarning Jan 30, 2017 @ 11:07am
I've been playing early versions of this game at local events around Portland. Super fun - looking forward to the full release!
