Hi there. Im trying to work out how the ANPR camera works and it doesn't seem simple to me. I am able to spawn it just fine but I dont know how to use the wiremod addon to get an output from the camera. If you could explain this, it would be a great help since this is a great addon.

Update to come within the next few days... Not the most interesting, but a few things have been modified behind the scenes to prepare for some fun features!

Doesnt work. I spawn the plate in, change the colour. I then zap the plate but it says it is invalid...

@MitchBruh, the camera is completley seperate from any vehicles. It simply outputs wiremod outputs of the number plate it detects. Feel free to weld it to any vehicle however ;)

I dont think that is GVLA. Perhaps another addon is causing issues. There is no material 'hazard.vmt' in GVLA.

It does not work for me, missing a shader hazard.vmt and I do not understand why..

I plan to reearth the pddb addon, however I am still deciding on the best way to do so. I am currently thinking about having a dedicated PDDB addon, where having GVLA adds ANPR/ALPR functionality.

Would like to use but causes my game to freeze when linking plates to vehicles. singleplayer sandbox using VCmod and ELS with LWcars and TDMcars. Don't have any more specifics than that, I'm afraid.

It doesnt work for me for some reason. Does it not go on the front of the car when you link it? Because it doesnt show up. Im using tdm cars

They should work in any gamemode!

do these only work in the darkrp gamemode? i want to use them mainly in sandbox

Nice! Adding a button you can press like you can in LCPDFR and/or LSPDFR would be cool, like being able to run their license plate number and their name.

Vehicle flags (stolen vehicle, usual occupants wanted)

That is on my list of things to do. My ideas for that feature:
-only scans an area in front of you (so you cannot just read any plates from nearby)
-the number plate will not read correctly (if at all) if it is not mounted horizontally
-the number plate will be checked against a shared police wanted system (wanted NPs)

If you have any other ideas, feel free to express them!

Instructions can be opened in-game by typing !gvla in chat. Number plates can be spawned from Entities > Other > GVLA Number Plate
