yeah for someone who had to die to ERAM several times while avoiding crashing out, ERAM would be a terrible idea for a playermodel. as for the whole 'not-so-secret' boss, i'm not sure if newcomers would even know about Jevil, Spamton NEO, The Knight and Gerson as secret bosses, they'd probably skim over them without even knowing (UNLESS they got the chapters spoiled). Again i think its because the fact that the Knight is SO UNBELIEVABLY hard to defeat, and the reveal probably made it sound more like a secret boss.

They're an optional boss that gives you an item when you beat them. Spamton wasn't exactly super secret either, just optional and out of the way. The knight is here because it makes the most sense for them to be here, and because ERAM would make for an incredibly lame model in comparison.

I agree. They're not even that secret if there is no side quest to complete (like Jevil in chapter 1 and Spamton in chapter 2) ERAM seems to be the real secret boss. maybe its because the Knight is SO UNBELIEVABLY TOUGH to fight if you don't have a good game-plan?
