I have seen this before, like while the user is in the mod manager, the mod will have no icon and no name, I'm guessing that this is just an error with ATS and the steam workshop communicating together.

For me the mod works fine, but the mod name and picture are indeed broken when added to the mod order even after re subscribing, probably something with the update if I had to guess, strange issue for sure but nothing that breaks the mod for me.

My version of the mod works just fine on ATS v1.55
Have you tried unsubbing then resubbing to the workshop item?
It could just be a communicate error with ATS and the steam workshop

Not sure if it's cause of 1.55, but after downloading this mod revamp, the Mod itself A; has no title and picture in the mod list and B, all the Transmissions are named the same "Allison TC10" with their respective differences. unless i missed something in the workshop to subscribe to.

It only has 24 differential ratios, there are 2 options for having no retarder and retarder on the transmission, 15 transmission options to choose from, since that the Allison 9 speed has both close and wide gear ratios I would consider it to be 16 transmission options.

dose this have 26 or 28 gear options?

Well I do believe I added a folder named "truck.name" from which is located in "def/vehicle/truck" if you have Notepad++ all you need to do is open all the .sii files using Notepad++

With Notepad++ all you will need to do is to press CTRL + F for find, click on "replace" there will be two text boxes, "Find what" and "Replace with" then neck just click on "Replace All in All Open Documents"

Doing it this way using Notepad++ is much quicker than editing each individual .sii file with regular notepad.

So curently to add a truck. I would have to copy a def file an change it to that truck name then go into every sii file an change the accessory data to that truck name too if there isnt a custom file addon.. i guess what im asking is there an eaiser way? Am i doing it wrong? Lol

To answer that question.

The .sui files are located within "def/vehicle/transmission/" from which holds several .sui files for the transmissions.

For the .sii files from which are located within "def/vehicle/truck" the .sii files only hold information about the differential ratio and they all have pointers to a certain .sui transmission that is located in "def/vehicle/transmission"

The idea of having this file setup was similar to how LoadedSaints does their Real Eaton Fuller Transmission mod, from which can be found here on the steam workshop.

How do you add trucks without having to change each sui to the truck name also?

@Andy I have added support for the Freightliner Classic XL by Jon Ruda, please let me know if there is any issues and I'll do my best to fix them, if they are fixable.

@Andy I can certinally add the Jon Ruda's Freightliner Classic XL (freight.xl) however for the Pizzster modding 389 (389ep) I have supported this truck in the past and users have told me that they transmissions don't show up even when the file path, coding etc was correct.

Also, could you please add support for the Pizzster modding 389? The ID is 389ep.

@toto3002 sorry for late response, however I've looked into some transmissions related to the Allison CLBT series, one in particular I've chosen to work on, it was the Allison CLBT 755.

I would love to add those transmissions from whenever I can but I'd have to research them, like the gear ratios, torque converter ratio etc...

some heavier duty allison would be nice like the CLBT series and more aggressive diff ratio would be sweet

I am pretty sure I already added that truck, however due to a issue that someone else reported the transmissions do not work on that truck, I have no clue why, I do not own that paid truck, I am sorry.

To best way I can explain is

CLOSE - The difference between gear ratios is small, meaning the engine speed (RPM) doesn’t drop much between shifts.

WIDE - Larger gaps between gear ratios, meaning the RPM drops more significantly between shifts.

DEEP - Typically refers to very short (numerically high) first and second gear ratios to provide maximum torque multiplication.

well I was talking about the one in game, I have no clue about the actual truck IRL, so yeah I could add it, but I'll have to do it sometime tomorrow, as I am heading offline or shutting my computer down for tonight, going to bed.

the us air force k100e's all had allison automatics.

k100e doesn't have any allison transmissions, to me it wouldn't be realistic, the truck only comes with older transmissions that are manually operated such as the road rangers and such.

yeah if it is the truck itself then there is nothing I can do as I do not own the truck mod

i don't see the transmission pack added to the truck but id is right because i tested it by adding 389ep to zeemods engine def file, it's most likely has to do with the truck possibly.
