I used to play this kind of game with my sister! The graphics look really neat too!

It's a flashplayer version of Mancala. Granted, you don't see Mancala games, EVER. I think you could do better with this game.

I vote no because of the graphics.

I voted yes for nostalgia. One of my math teachers would let the kids who finished their work before class was over play this against each other. Me and the other guy who were really good in math always had time to spare so I played this nearly everyday.

Oh, I knew that game under the name "awalé". I coded that 20 years ago as part of CS project.
Mastastealth  [author] Nov 11, 2014 @ 2:34pm
@Amusement: That's because it IS Mancala ;) Mancala is really a game "type" with a ton of different rule variations (but all using the pit/stones layout).

This game uses one of the variants called "oware", hence the name. :)
Amusement Park of the Mind Nov 11, 2014 @ 2:23pm
This looks remarkably similar to a game called Mancala . Needs idicators or arrows to help teach new players the direction of the beads. Also, perhaps add game modes that expand upon the base 2-player versus; perhaps a multiplayer mode with varying paths and pits.

Not bad, but, the game price must be 0.99 :v

Игра не очень интересная, не думаю что такие сейчас кто то покупает)
BlackShinobi_ Nov 11, 2014 @ 12:57am
simple design. yet i feel like that is not to say the game will be easy. my only concern is how will the game expand, and what would the game be costing?
Gorlom[Swe] Nov 10, 2014 @ 4:10pm
Quinto is a spammer with no genuine interest in any game on Greenlight. He simply does not buy aany of the games he pesters. He could not buy all the games he spamms.
His only cause is to spread the use of Italian. I'm not saying you should not add Italian. Just that Quintos request is without any interest from his side and the advice is biased to the point that it is useless. You ar better off doing your own research.

So ignore Quinto and check for yourself which languages you feel would be benefitial to your game.
Ğòđƨpęęđ Nov 10, 2014 @ 3:47pm
@Quinto, you trolling developers (requiring Italian and not buying games) and Russian people (with your FIGS)
AbyssalZombie Nov 10, 2014 @ 3:36pm
Italian not even in top 10 spoken languages, yet you're asking for it. Hell english is in the top 3 but mandarin is top spoken one. Yet your asking Italian. I see no point in the dev adding it till he has a larger support for it because adding extra languages can be costly on a dev sometimes.
Quinto Max Nov 10, 2014 @ 3:01pm
Which languages in future?
L-chan Nov 10, 2014 @ 3:01pm
I haven't played Mancala in ages! This looks like it would be pretty cool, and I am sure there will be much more development for it in the future. Sure, I'd play this :D
BORP  [author] Nov 10, 2014 @ 2:06pm
@Quinto Initially, yea, only English. However it would not be hard to add more languages in the future!
Quinto Max Nov 10, 2014 @ 1:22pm
Ignore Side_Effect, please, he is a troll and a stalker against me. Only in Eglish?
Mastastealth  [author] Nov 10, 2014 @ 12:40pm
@Gorlom: Blunt, but thanks. I've updated description with a lot more info, and update the UI a bit which should clear confusion on the scoring. The initial video is just meant for gameplay, as that seems to be the norm for these videos, but a video of the tutorial is a good idea.

@Side_Effect Thanks for the heads up.

@Daz Why not? :D
DAZ Nov 10, 2014 @ 11:36am
No... just NO!
Ğòđƨpęęđ Nov 10, 2014 @ 9:11am
A user by the name of Quinto Fabio Massimo will eventually show up in this comment section. He asks for Italian language on EVERY game. He does not really care about your game or any other greenlight game. He simply considers it a right to be able to play games in Italian. (He has even made a Steam group to that purpose as far as I understand it)

He says he is "advising" or "recommending". But the way he formulates himself he is rather begging or requesting and giving the impression that he is interested in the game even though he is not. (c)
Gorlom[Swe] Nov 10, 2014 @ 9:05am
What the deuce? At least explain how you gain points in this. Is the players score on the left or the right??

This is a horrible presentation/pitch that assumes that the viewer understands or knows about the game beforehand.

You need a lot more in the description and your gameplay video would probably require a voiceover where you explain what you are doing and why. I suggest you hide this project untill you can fix those things.
