Hey, I don't believe this mod needs updating since none of the variables have changed with 1.9, should work with 1.9 with no issues

It's slight adjustments but there is also a minimum assimilation and conversion added but for me it drastically improves performance without changing the game to much

The current state of defines is identical to the game defaults, so "Increases assimilation rate and conversion" and "Reduces tick rate spending of AI" don't do anything here.

error Parsing Meta Data it the only mod that says that in the launcher. i can download other mod sjust fine but your gives me a parsing error over and over

@tim apple it's an experimental feature but I am not super experienced with modding to make game rules yet but I will research it, you can remove the file "00_policing" in the mod file in laws and it will revert the change!

Great mod, though would be nice without the morality per turmoil. I'd rather not fix performance by killing off my pops. Maybe if it could be a game setup setting? <3

Thanks, a lot of the lag seems to be with immigration. Not sure if it's something I can alter without ruining game balance/making the game boring

@bluepavels Hey, I have updated it to 1.8.6, I will create more modifications as I look through code as I have to do a full playthrough and check what lags and I will try and adjust. I also put some more recommended mods for performance in description.

I found an issue in this mod that doesn't seem intentional. In the case of East Asian countries with large populations like Joseon, the No Education and No Home Affairs policies provide 1st level institutions, which leads to a significant waste of Bureaucracy and prevents taxes from being collected properly. Wouldn't it be better to add assimilation and mortality in a different way?

@Dman Yes, but this can easily be reverted back to vanilla laws by deleting the citizenship and migration txt files in laws

Thank you @Bluepavels but the mod is basically just a band aid solution, it's mostly paradox's responsibility to optimize the game there is only so much mods can do

I finally found the best mod! I feel indescribable joy and gratitude. This is probably the only mod that improves performance so naturally and without overly interfering with the game! Good luck with everything!

@thamikey Population merges are more aggressive compared ot vanilla so there is less population for performance I believe

EXCELLENT mod, no issues in 1.5.12. A must-have mod.
