You could keep it up simply for the bonus to reverse engineering, or even add a little something on the side for the skill.

Creating a game without the mod and then adding it later makes everything work fine.
I also changed how some things work behind the scenes and hopefully it doesn't break everything.If it does, I can just revert and upload just the spear fix..

I'm on break from uni, so I have some time to mess around and see if I can get it to work based on the outcome of the Sifrah minigame, but on first impressions of looking at the code for it, I don't think it's something I'm going to be able to accomplish with Qud's modding.
