But I have to admit, I barely managed to complete the 100th moon on the bare minimum. I was trying to protect my dogs, and my villager died. I had to keep circling the board to reach the 101st moon.
Watch some videos, dig on the wiki.
You can easily complete casual minimum without anybody's help tho
Maybe the spirit worlds in Bare need those tricks? I haven't tested those that much
I wouldn't call it 'dirty tricks', i don't think it's dirty. what i meant by iffy is it feels like something an update could patch out because it seems to be a logic error by the game, so it seems precarious to design a feature in the mod around.
Absolute Minimum it makes 100% sense to me because that is the theoretical limits of the game, so that logic fits nicely there.
Either way it's still an awesome mod though :P thanks for making it!
I think no "dirty tricks" needed for bare island. Also, what tricks? Do you mean double glue stuff ? I thought nobody knows about that
Only criticism i have is learning curve jumps too much with Bare Minimum. Bare overworld is perfectly fine, but have to glitch stuff or exploit logic errors to go beyond that point which feels... a bit iffy.
I think if rest of Bare followed the circumstances of Bare Overworld, would be a better experience overall. Would be nice if i could speed up the overworld using an iron and plank from the traveler to grab sand from the island and then bring back sand, stone, and cotton without glitching.
Either way, that's a comparatively small gripe. Bare Minimum is still awesome, especially the overworld. Feels very natural starting a new game with nothing. Adds just that twinge of challenge the game needed and i really enjoy hammering out those fruit salads to see how many chests i can open xD
Highly recommended.
