Agree.. Any chance you could update this for DoS:EE? This is an excellent mod as dyes are stupid rare in game currently. PLEASE!!!

the black,,, and i think white dyes need higher then 2,
would it be possible if you could lower it ?,
as it takes a very long time before i'm able to dye my thieves clothes black :<
and if possible could you change it so that the dyes stack ?

I downloaded it from Nexus and followed the "TO ACTIVATE THIS MOD IN AN EXISTING SAVE" directions....when I opened the save, my characters were on Cyseal beach (they had been in Silverglen in the save I copied the meta file into)....but it seems as if the game is at the same progression point and the mod is working fine so it was just a matter of running back to Silverglen and it seems as if everything is good......Does this usually happen when incorporating mods into old savegames?

I really wanna download, but seems like it's not working and a lot of ingame faults might be caused by it. Is there any update on how to make it work or when the workshop will work ?

Am I the only one that finds the instructions nonsensical? It says to "activate" the mod, yet I'm never told how to do so. It certainly doesn't seem to appear in the mod menu. How the heck am i supposed to "activate" it?

Update: I have managed to figure out how to add more dyes to the game. Expect an update that adds 7 more color options to the list in the next few days. As well as makes cloth helmets dyeable.

I'm also in the works of a mod that extends the character creator, already added more skin/hair colors and added 64 blank portraits to each gender stored. The portrait expansion is in an easy to edit .png file (MS Paint friendly) so adding custom portraits will be easy as pie once released. But that's another story.....

I am now weary of games that say they will have workshop on them. I believe now a companies are getting used to the idea of just saying they have workshop even if its really crappy like the workshop support for this game. In all reality, there is no workship but a review shop as I come here to review new mods that I got to nexus to download.

IT SEEMS TO BE THE NORM NOW THAT WORKSH*T GETS HALF THE SUPPORT IT USED TO FOR GAMES...TOO MANY TECHNICAL ISSUES SO MOST JUST SAY F IT...THERE IS STILL NEXUS!!!

WORKSH*T WAS A GREAT IDEA DURING CIV 5 AND I THINK A BIG REASON WHY IT HAS DONE WELL BUT NOW ITS ALL DONE WITH A LAZY HEART AND ITS DYING.

Oh yeah. There was definitely some serious rainbow pimp gear going on in the default game.

Between this mod, my invisible sarong mod, and my sexy armor mod (which tones down the amount of coloration of the armors changed) I've pretty much purged my personal copy of all the mismatched gawdy colors.

Well from what I can gather the Workshop publishing feature does not use a mod's /public folder when it compresses it to a pak file. Thus currently there is no way for me to upload a working version of this mod to the Workshop.

I'll still keep this mod up, since a lot of people like it and the link to the working Nexus copy is provided in the description. I swear its almost like they don't want you to be able upload mods to the Workshop. Without the /public folder only quest mods and a very tiny handfull of other mod types can be uploaded in working form here.

Yeah, the old nexus version was using the bad pak file, try version 1.1. I'll look to seeing if I can getting a version that works with the Workshop.

Urrggghhh.... I extracted the pak file made from the editors publising feature, and it don't contain the actual modded files for this mod, just a worthless meta.lsb file >:(

For now you can get the working mod from the Nexus still. I manually packed that version along with an extracted version:

Can't say I'm impressed with how the Workshop works. Can't upload a working version of a mod through its pointlessly rigid requirements for squat...

I did load the mod correctly with an existing savegame (or supposedly so, I can see the mod loading message in the loading screen) but when I combine a bucket with any of the ingredients nothing happens.. am I missing something here?
