So even after downloading the files/maps required for few servers, everytime I try to join it says ''can't join server''. And yes, I've been trying with public servers.

I remember this mod once was in the SP part and was able to be played in custom battles

yes, bannerlord MP is not successful
the project is dedicated to MP and so are its supporters
since the MP side is struggling already there's no way they can do SP

The reasons are as follows:

-Taleworlds did not implement the recommendations given over the past 1.5 years to develop and
enhance the modding environment and the mod itself.

-Singleplayer modifications have been gradually canceled on the modding environment.

-The Taleworlds modding/multiplayer community has been slowly dying out.

-The servers constantly crash, and there is instability.

-Taleworlds has not provided enough confidence in our mod projects.

-The support base for the Sword & Musket project has dwindled.

-Team members involved in the Sword & Musket project have left due to the insufficient
development of the mod.

Bannerlord is not a successful game, and due to the cracks in other Singleplayer modifications and the last two updates, the game has lost its concept, negatively affecting our mod.

For these reasons, we have decided to cancel our Singleplayer plans.

Singleplayer when?

Singleplayer on the europe map pls.

And because of its many vanilla features, it rarely crash, and there are wars all the time, which never make the mod boring. The battles in the mod are very intense and fun, and there are a good amount of weapons and uniforms to choose from. I play this mod everyday, so fun. Just imagine it as a real Europe map and real lords etc as I do. In my opinion, battles, costumes, troop trees, weapons and uniforms are better than in Empires of Europe 1700.

For all the players asking for singleplayer : There is a mod, if you dont already know this, called Napoleonic Warfare Open Source Mod on Nexus. The base for the mod is vanilla yes, the names of the settlements, lords etc are vanilla, the map are vanilla, but all the troops are converted into Napoleonic troops. For example, United Kingdom is Battania, The Northern Empire are the French Empire etc. The Ottoman Empire, Austria and Prussia are also in the mod. The troop trees are actually really good, and the costumes and uniforms of the tropps is stunning.

PLEASE just make it singleplayer bruh

i searched for so many gun mods this is the only that showed up and another one that was outdated

how do you play this!? I launch it and when try to join servers says I am not compatible or dont have the map, and then I have no option to download anything.

max its because single player is much harder to code mainly because bannerlord has made a mess out of themselves and coding anything into single player is such a pain youd rather chew nails laced with bleach than have to constantly fight against their awful system.

why are all the cool mods that people actually want are never campaign single player? its always and only MP. I only found one that works and its in the same era as calradia which is really nothing new, just a large map of Europe, i respect modders who take a very professional attempt and i have generously supported them in the past, but lately its just "how about i throw together some simple multiplayer with dressed up units and new weapons and call it good", "because i really only made this mod for my own pleasure to only play MP". then they tell you oh im working on making a campaign version, that probably should have been the first thing they did if popularity for making a truly great mod was what you are after. warband modders have accomplished that, give or take a few that crashed repeatedly there are some great campaign mods made for warband. i do appreciate a lot of other UI and quality of life mods.

Just so everybody knows, the development of this mod is cancelled permanently

The developers who made the game refused to make certain changes to the mod packages that would allow for better modding--to put it simply

Basically, certain changes were necessary for the mod to be able to progress & keep being developed, changes that the modders / sword & musket devs couldn't make--they petitioned the developers of the game for 1.5~ years but they just didn't listen

So, 4 months ago (August 2024) development of the mod was indefinitely CANCELLED
