It might be interesting to have the menu validated faster, without letting the player move.
Because while the menu is still taking its time t disappear, it hides the avatar behind, I tend to pick up, and mess things around without notiving.

Suggestion: allow variable time for the menu to appear (including not appearing at all).
Reason: This is nice in multiplayer games, but in one player it is actually slower than pressing the next button.

It also hangs on upgrade days slowing inputs.
