Originaly it was planned that i pack the elf models into the map, so that only this map has elf cizizens but when i did that the animations broke so i had to put the elf models in the addons folder, thats the reason why on any other map there are elf citizien when you installed my map

this map turned all my citizens into elves no matter what map i was on

I replayed the map and it turns out I missed the one on Room 14, not 12. My bad. Though nothing happened when I got all 25... Is there a 26th somewhere?

One of the MeeMs appears to be missing; Rooms 6 and 12 are empty and I only found one outside, so there's only 24, not 25.

This is by far the best map I've ever played, and I was constantly surprised with every new twist of the final door!!!

i waited a year for this and missed it! ah well still cool

hey i don't know if anyone else has this problem but after defeating the boss and going to room six with the elf guy. he placed the portal but when i walk through it. It just teleport's me back to spawn

Is there anything in room 6 after getting inside?(I won't spoil it here but it's easy enough to unlock)

The lag in the final section is SEVERE. Even with basically no (Workshop) addons I'm getting sub-1 FPS. What is even going on? Is it something else I have installed? Is it the water?

The Final Door is Open! Thank you all for stickting till the End. The Map will probably get another Update in the Next few Days becouse i had to Cut things out becouse i was running out of time.

I could very well be wrong in my experiments. I do know it's something packed in since clearing all that stuff out did fix it, but beyond that my best guess is the glass panels...

Update: deleting all the packed files with VIDE fixed the issue. The breakable glass in room 19 appears black after this, meaning the texture is missing. I checked the texture file, and it's "offwndwb", which is not a valid texture for func_breakable_surf. The only valid texures for func_breakable_surf are "glass/glasswindowbreak070a" and "tile/tilebreak001c". Either change the texture, or just make the faces regular func_breakable brushes. If that doesn't fix the crash, then either it's a vis issue (vvis freezes when compiling and won't terminate alongside Hammer) or the map is literally cursed.

I decompiled the map and tried recompiling. It refused to compile any bsp file after deleting the contents of Room 19, though. The room has func_breakable_surf with nodraw texture and two long displacements that could be causing issues, but even with them deleted I'm still getting degenerate triangle errors. There are tiny and unnecessary skybox brushes around the edges of the room, but those don't seem to be causing the issue. And at some point, I even corrupted the map into not outputting a bsp file. FWIW decompiling the map and recompiling it with no edits fixes the crash, though it seems this is one of those situations where vvis locks up and never finishes. I'll have to try VIDE and see what happens. But at this point it sounds like a faulty visleaf or something.

ok so i sended my main Henchman to test it and yeah it crashes and i have no idea why becouse on earlier days it doesent and on the latest version that i have with all the doors and stuff it also dosent crash so i think it has something to do with packed content? idk but it should be fixed in the next days
