This mod is great but no Aserai horse archers is a little sus. Kinda why I shifted over to True Armies of Calradia a bit better variety over there

Playing right now in Battania and I noticed a lot of the armies have barely any archers, what could be causing this?

hello, how can i recruit rhodok units?

i read a from a comment a few years ago you can take vlandian territory as a non-vlandian faction and recruit them? does this mean i have to join a faction and then take their territory? Or can I take their territory as my own faction (do I then have to start as a non-vlandian culture for this?)

Playing Imperial, only armed citizens and noble calvary are spawning for recruitment. Nothing else.

Aserai has no horse archers, but Sturgians do… I don’t know what to say...

Cool... now where are my vlandian pikemen? Why can't we straight recruit them instead of having to go through some dumb shenanigans?

@PhillyBorn: DRM does not have Dryatia units. That's likely from another mod you have.

Additionally: I do plan on updating DRM for War Sails once it releases. However, it will likely take a while for me to get a feel on what needs to change to account for it.

Yes, I do have plans to update for the War Sails DLC, though it might take a bit of time after release for a full patch depending on how much changes in terms of files.

Will this mod be updated after the release of the upcoming DLC? This mod is simply so good that I can't imagine going back to the vanilla unit system.

Hi, I have a question regarding ranged units. I was wondering if it's normal for them to be so scarce, as in, I visited and checked many places in Sturgia, but it's really hard to find ranged units to recruit, best i've seen was one ranged unit in one city, and two ranged units in a different city, but other than that It's been pretty tough to find some. So generally I wonder if it's intentionall, if there's something I don't know regarding how they spawn, or if there's an option to increase their spawn rate

You need the RBM combat module - everything else can be disabled (though I did my playtesting for DRM with the AI module). If you are getting a crash, load the game without DRM but with RBM, turn off the RBM troop changes, then reboot with DRM.

so does that mean I should delete the RBM and keep the troop changer or delete both?

I know, I just didn't notice it was on at the time of installing (as it is by default) and had to spend a while checking which mod was causing the CTD, thought I may as well give a heads up

You shouldn't need the RBM troop overhaul anyways since DRM makes it obsolete, but thanks for the heads up.

WARNING: If you had RMB installed before this mod and activated troop overhaul IT WILL CRASH ON START, no idea why this happens considering it's a requirement and on by default but I had to load the game without the mod, turn it off and only then it stopped crashing

Oh god, Sturgia is super weak against Vlandia with better pikes available. AI vs AI it’s always almost 4:1 in regards to dead units.

@PrmierVader: Yes, DRM works with the current version of the game.

@TNDKing: Details are in the manuals on Nexus. In this case Vlandia doesn't recruit Rhodoks (implicitly because the Rhodoks are part of Vlandia already), but the Battanians can by taking Vlandian cities. Vlandikon are mercenaries available in taverns.

Hello is this mod working fine with the latest version of the game? I am looking to start getting mods for the game and the very idea of this mod was just what I was thinking when playing wit normal vanilla! There is nothing quite like it.

Interesting if this is the case but I was playing in vlandia and brittanians took some land and Rhoduk unit tree that I saw in the Encyclopedia if it is culture merge present then I also saw the Vlakodian GUard or whatever would it be empire controlling a vlandian province or vice versa maybe? Also would vlandia taking brittanian land also produce rhoduks?

Got like 10 Mods all working, tried to take your's too and bam, every time i start a new Game it crashes before it's even fully loaded and yes i have RBM and ATC installed.

@steve.marte you need to load Adonnay's Troop Changer and De Re Militari *AFTER* Banner Kings because BK overwrites troop distribution with its own thing. Also, ATC is not compatible with Banner Kings' new Expanded Culture submod so DRM isn't as a result.

When using Banner Kings I no longer have access to the high troop trees. Thought that would change when I gained Full Peerage and gained a town, but still only the Irregular troops. What am I missing?
