Will you ever be fixing this sorrowful character?

I appreciate the criticism and praise! Blasphemous is a game I really enjoy and I will try fixing what I can! A new update similar to my other character, the feather with muscles, is on the way!

I actually enjoy this character quite a bit, it just needs some polishing. Also the AI is surprisingly good as the Penitent One, but gets stuck on prayer select strangely.

I have played Blasphemous for countless hours and its nice to see someone made Penitente
but jesus christ
everything about this character its a blasphemy towards the character

-the animations arent well ripped
-the attacks dont feel satisfying
-the moveset its inconsistent
-the sound effects are so off
-the prayers dont really work at all
-the attacks feel really jank (not well polished)
-there is no good gamefeel (it really doesnt feel like you actually played blasphemous for visual and gamefeel reference for the character)

Im sorry for being too harsh, but Blasphemous its a game I really adore and its heartbreaking to see so much wrong
like... I dont really mind that its a spriterip
but god, please at least make it feel good to play

do you know that you could use aseprite to quadruplele his size easily? download it and then change the images to be twice both horizontally and vertically (ssry for bad english but it isn't my native language)

I do not think I will change the size, at least not as of right now. But it still plays well so that's good!
