First off, there is no pony that is normal.
Secondly, vampire ponies are at the same level as griffin OCs, rare and done fairly good.

First off, I believe you mean "Insulting it could cause pain to the creator." Second, it was worded in a way that was in no shape or form of an insult, and I don't think people should be getting riled over someone believing their original character has features that they don't like anyways. Criticism is different, but if you feel that if they're just putting down you really just have to ignore it and move on.

Well, I see it as this:
When you create a character, you are making a part of you into it. Getting insulted about it could cause pain to the creator.
Now there are two types of OC: Ones that you are trying to mirror yourself by using symbolism (me) or just a plain character. Depending on your viewpoint, it can go either way.

Don't say it like that. It sounds insulting. Say that he is...."Searching for his very special talent." Blankflank is, in my opinion, the same as saying "Nigga" or "Negro", just plain old insulting.
