basically in the older itteration f2p their was a turning bug that occoured because the physics of the turning was serverside vs clientside which made the game uplayable, this game is made in germany but these are some of the laziest coders becasue their re-releasing the game and making it europe only because why? probably because they didn't recode the turning and just fix the mechanic... they approached youtubers for exposure and then f'ed up the mechanics and made it EU only, really disappointing.
Sarthos_Jacruga May 31, 2015 @ 1:43pm
Alright, in a serious note, this looks like an amazing, modern day hybrid between wipeout and f-zero, but when i click on the link claiming to be the store page, it drops me back at the store main page, nor can i find any trace of this anywhere. Anyone know what's going on?...
MadOldFart_69 Nov 16, 2014 @ 9:52pm
No store page ? = wtf
Phaota Sep 26, 2014 @ 4:51pm
I certainly hope the game servers for North America open very, very soon. I want to play this game. Loved the WipeOut games, so this is a good step up from those.
Dr Strangelove Sep 23, 2014 @ 11:06am
seems cool

Due to the location of our current game servers, Quantum Rush: Online is currently only available to Steam users from Europe and Russia. As soon as everything runs smooth we plan to open this region locking up to more locations. We will notify you about any developments on this issue :)
LazerRay Aug 2, 2014 @ 8:38am
I'm unable to go to the Steam store page for Quantum Rush Online, I get the "An error was encountered while processing your request:

This item is currently unavailable in your region" message instead.

Hi guys,

Quantum Rush Online
Viero Jul 29, 2014 @ 2:28am
It's like the Wipeout PC port that never happened. Brilliant.

Any idea on a date for a NA release?
Tenkai Masaki Jul 29, 2014 @ 12:48am
After trying this out, I gave my feedback and I enjoyed this game, I'm looking forward to seeing this on Steam!
Vexx Jul 28, 2014 @ 1:32am
Looks very nice, like F-Zero or Pod racing from tatooine...
Thats a game what I would like to see on steam.
Good job guys =)
SuperChickenLips Jul 16, 2014 @ 9:24am
i have been on this game since closed beta, and i love it. needs more content, but the foundations are there, and they're great. it gives me the same rush as wipeout used to. and the menu music? i have spent ages just sitting and listening to it. keep up the good work guys :)
Timeslice Jul 12, 2014 @ 12:59am
Will there be more track width variation in future maps? So far this game feels alot more like Wipeout 64 than Wipeout Pure/Fury with it's "one size fits all" track width. And no, off-track terrain sections don't count :P
Timeslice Jul 12, 2014 @ 12:53am
While the lag compensation is much better than it was, with a 200ms ping time the game still doesn't feel great. I think I'll be sticking with QR Champions until a NA server is brought up.
Sir Munkleton  [author] Jul 11, 2014 @ 7:51am
@Tigerhawk71: Could I asked what release of the client you are using? Very early on we had a system of interpolation to move the racers around the track, including the racer on the local client. However, for some time now we have a prediction system in place so all input it applied directly on the client, with the movements being authenticated at regular intervals with the server. Currently we only have servers located in Europe and hope very soon to be able to setup server in other locations. I would be interested to know what ping ranges you are experiencing at your location, it might be possible to adjust the prediction to cope better with higher latencies. Thanks.
Tigerhawk71 Jul 9, 2014 @ 3:32am
Don't get it - Unless you're in Europe, your latency will be through the roof - and control responses are server-side, making it borderline unplayable.

This reminds me of lucas arts podracer which I thouroughly enjoyed. Although the dynamics seam very different.

A Version of Wipeout for PC I will buy this.
SuperChickenLips Jun 25, 2014 @ 7:27am
i'm playing this and its actually a really good game. i was in it from closed beta, and now its moved to free2play. very smooth, looks decent and plays pretty fairly too. i was a massive wipeout fan, and i am not disappointed by this game.
Parisse Jun 21, 2014 @ 9:29am
bello :)
Blaze Deval Jun 18, 2014 @ 8:34am
I am not sure... I don't really see much innovation from Wipeout, but I fucking loved that game so much that I want to play this to see if it has the Wipeout feel..

It's a shame that Wipeout never came to PC..
comp9 Jun 16, 2014 @ 8:25am
Available April? Any updates on this? I'd like to play online through Steam.
unGamer Jun 8, 2014 @ 11:39am
@Rabbids4eva All too true... WIPEGROUND is more what I have in mind, however. Just not MMOG. Still, QR is for only up to 20 right? Regular Multi-player can make fields that large...?
Paddy Livenkle Jun 4, 2014 @ 5:09am
If wipEout was an online game, this would be it.
[-MK-] Flippers Jun 4, 2014 @ 3:08am
Wont be voting because this game is a rip off of WipeOut its the EXACT same concept and it shows that they havent done their reserch!
CornyjK May 29, 2014 @ 5:15am
I voted
Klesst May 28, 2014 @ 2:13am
@Spectre1406: Thanks for replying, I'm glad to hear you could solve the keyboard problem! You probably have lag when playing online because our servers in Germany are too far away from you. We are currently making plans for a standalone (offline) version of Quantum Rush with single-player content - stay tuned!
Scruberoni May 27, 2014 @ 4:09am
never mind, i rebinded it, now it's working, but the lag is painful for me
Scruberoni May 26, 2014 @ 11:01am
@Klesst: I'm using keyboard, it works in practice, but not online mode.
Klesst May 26, 2014 @ 9:22am
@Spectre1406: are you using the keyboard or a gamepad? A gamepad has to be plugged in before you start the game, on the keyboard both I and W should make your ship accelerate if you haven't changed the default keyboard bindings!

Wipeout on PC with Multiplayer? YES.
AD_79 May 16, 2014 @ 10:04am
This game looks great, there hasn't been a game like this on PC in a long time. (I think the original WipeOut games had PC versions)

lmao ! yes , i think of their star war racer games at the first moment i saw this game ...
however umm..its almost 2015 and with big games / companies games like Blizzard / the elderscrolls online featuered mac version , you chose to ignore the gamers who love their mac and wanted a native version of it , i will have to vote on NO , good job on ignoring us =]
