Lot of dirt ingot recipes missing, like the last comment mentions about gold. Not that many people play this game anymore.
Bahamunt 6. feb. 2015 kl. 7:51
The mod is great, but... in the game, you can see that you can turn three dirt gold ingots into one "pure" ingot, but... How do I get dirty gold ingots first? There isn't any objects that allows you to get them :S
Maxpowerammo 16. juni 2014 kl. 15:37
You should decrease the weight of the dirt ingots to 0.5 or 0.3. Also @Almighty look in your inventory to see if you have dirt ingots stored there, if your Skyrim trys to find the items from this mod but they are not there, it will crash.

It sure would be nice to be able to turn wooden buckets, bowls, etc. back into wood. You can recycle wood so that if you have mods to make arrows then it would be simpler to recycle the wood items than to chop firewood.

Perhaps you could do something like what More Smelting Recipes 1.1 does where it keeps the stuff can't make out of your view and/or sorted. This really clutters up the smelter. But I do like the balance you've implemented.
Shrimptech Enterprises CTO 12. jan. 2014 kl. 20:27
How do you uninstall this? having the smelter so cluttered now really annoys me but disabling the mod or removing it makes my game crash when i load my save. Help would be appreicated
MickJaegar 11. jan. 2014 kl. 22:44

this is a bit more realistic than just selling the "generic loot" +1UP for the OP
BLaze2123 7. jan. 2014 kl. 16:37
this will make upgrading existing gear easier. just started a new game and this will help bunches..i always got tons of crap gear that ends up getting wasted
Kylemaul 7. jan. 2014 kl. 15:47
recycling scale/leather armor >> nothing -- once leather is cured/hardened to armor forms it'd be pretty tough to re-use and taking apart scle armor (think organic ring mail) just too time consuming...
recycling fur armor >> leather & strips
recycling fur boots/bracers/helms >> strips only
recycling cloth gear >> linen wraps (which should have first aid uses) ;-]

good, though i think "dirt" is the wrong term. the "dirt you're refering to is just the slag. technically its just impure iron, steel, etc. just my two cents on the matter. excellent concept, excellent work, keep going.
Bigmac 7. jan. 2014 kl. 14:15
IM DOVAKIIN I DONT RECYCLE
Charlemagne 6. jan. 2014 kl. 6:10
Wouldn't it be simpler if you got the pure ingots straightaway; for instance, an iron sword would give you one iron ingot, instead of three dirt iron ingots which then convert to one iron ingot?
evil_and_dangerous 6. jan. 2014 kl. 1:37
I saw this on a Youtube review (may have been top 5 skyrim mods of the week, cant remember) such a simple concept but I feel one that should have been implimented in the game in the first place. And the fact that you've added the "dirt" version of a ingot keeps the game balanced and logical. Very good, just about to click subscribe!
Kirahie 6. jan. 2014 kl. 0:37

Actually this mod is very very old in my collection. I have made it soon after Creation Kit release, but it was a part of bigger mod. Probably it was first or one of firsts mod about recycling. Now I decided to seperate it.
Simbastic 4. jan. 2014 kl. 20:19

7tamurai 3. jan. 2014 kl. 21:48
Who's to say those of us planning on smelting wouldn't have thought ahead and cleaned the weapon extensively to create pure raw materials?
Arrow Albert 3. jan. 2014 kl. 21:21
Like mccraysteven10 I'm wondering how this mod works on enchanted weapons. Does it work with enchanted weapons at all?
Arcajus 3. jan. 2014 kl. 20:10
Amazing
Eldrunner 3. jan. 2014 kl. 13:20

Great mod sir... mayby change the 'dirt' to a leather looking material, or parchment... but recolored
Program13 3. jan. 2014 kl. 5:40
This sounds handy.
Syrous_PL 3. jan. 2014 kl. 4:41
Hey, this is a good idea. There were many times I was short on materials and I had piles of useless weapons around.
Zoruyo 3. jan. 2014 kl. 2:42
Can I use this mod in my french version?

In French: Je peux utiliser ce mod dans ma version française?
Tomoko 3. jan. 2014 kl. 2:07
@FreedomSlayer

no, GREAT idea!!
PoOnDaNg 3. jan. 2014 kl. 1:06
good idea !!
raymond0256 2. jan. 2014 kl. 18:49
Interesting Idea, but yeah, smelting removes impurities, even separates metals of different types, and burns away blood. Plus, there are other, better weapon smelting mods. Kudos on the effort and idea though.

Mother of god...........
Son Foliage 2. jan. 2014 kl. 17:06
im going to melt a goat then create the goat sword! :D
Day 1 2. jan. 2014 kl. 15:29
I'm pretty sure metallurgy doesn't work that way. Cute mod, though.
Ek1 2. jan. 2014 kl. 15:27
As i can't upvote other peoples posts so I just say 'What jim.schuler said'. There are better recycle mods that require less clicking from my part and even then we are talking over 100+ clicks per melting trip.
Turmoil 2. jan. 2014 kl. 15:17
Craft the weapons into scrap! Then craft three scrap to make a rec and later 3 rec to a ref!
