Would it perhaps be possible to make a small extract of this with just the militarization government reform later in the German Gov Tree?
I wanna do a silly revolutionary militarism build and I would love to combine the two :3

@GrandMasterCaeser I have seen that in some of my playthroughs as well. It's vanilla eu4 behavior and happens if you have negative opinion and aggressive expansion with them. Improving the relations above 0 should fix it.

I have never had that happen in 1444, if you want you can upload your save game on the discord, then can check if there is a bug. Best regards Reloader

Is there a way to prevent all of North Germany to have -200 opinion because they want your provinces in 1444 as BRA?

Most interestingly, due to the recruitment policy, Prussia did not have enough people for a huge army and relied heavily on the creation of armies from volunteers/mercenaries from other countries who were part of its regular army. To its zenith, the Prussian army consisted of only a quarter of the Prussians, and the rest were foreign. They also even hired Polish hussars. Perhaps this can be reflected by making special mercenary companies specifically for Prussia.

Did you plan to make this, but for prussia root? Like, made federation, when prussia land steel have militarisation, but others land non (like non-prussia have debaff to manpower, ect)? I know, so prussia milit it's myth for this period, i am not like how it's work. I think it's should be done in way with choice, when u have like "lite milit", like this work in vanila, but only with buf for +10% disc, and mb +drill, ect, but malus for -20% manpower regen, +20% land main ect (like it was in real history). Or made really kind of stuff, like "the state serves the army", when u got like +10% all power cost, but permament militarisation, ect.

@MeteorJunk yes, forming the North German Confederation will change your government type. Technicely it's like switching from monarchy to theocracy. So no, you can't be a North German Peasant Republic. (Although this would be a fun idea :D )

If I form the North German Confederation as Dithmarschen will I become an autocracy? I want to stay a Peasant Republic but that doesn't really seem possible since this mod introduces a new unique government type for the NGC

Do you need to conquer all of Southern Germany to complete the focus tree? I just want to know if I can do this tree without having the temptation to form Germany. I want to avoid that focus tree

Don't worry too much about your Prussian benefits. I suggest forming Prussia before (this gives you special bonuses in the mission tree). If you decide to do so, you can just keep the Prussian ideas. For the NGC, Tier 6 also gives you the militarization reform. Feel free to join the Discord if you have further questions :)

This is SO cool. I really like this. My singular concern is losing the Prussian reform. It makes sense for it to be parliamentary, but would it be possible to have a special parliament that allows militarization? I did read that missions grant half of the effect if I am correct? Also, you did say you could form back into Prussia? I am not sure how that would work? Thank you, keep up the good work

Forming North Germany Should also give the Most powerful South German State (most likely still Austria) to call the Southern German States to their Side, you know so there can be a proper show down for Germany

@Morgoth Danke dir! I've pushed an update adding the missing german localisations. So there should no longer be "NORTH_GERMAN_CONFEDERATION" but "Norddeutscher Bund" instead.

Not sure tho if that fixes the naming bug when forming GER. Feel free to join the discord and keep me up to date if your bug persists.

I think, I found a bug. When you complete 2 Missions (I think it was "North German Confederation" and "Reform into a federation") as the North Germany, the name of the nation changes into something like "NORTH_GERMAN_CONFEDERATION" or "GREATER_CONFEDERATION". It does not change, when you form Germany. The country tag changes to GER but the name is still the same. I play in German, I dont know, if its a bug only in this version.
