For anyone else wondering about the catalyst for the frogs, I figured it out! You have to have the consorts enabled, and when you kill them they drop a catalyst (a beaker filled with green stuff).

I see this has been asked previously, but has anyone found out what the "catalyst" is for the frogs?

For some reason ive been having a crashing problem. I checked every mod and confirm its this one causing it. Whenever i scroll the item list i get a random crash. Once when i was deleting the word "lucky" it crashed at "lu". Idk which item might be causing this, but its a major annoyance for checking out the mod items, since, yknow. There isnt a tab for all of them.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Hi Classica, I don't think I'll return to this mod so honestly feel free to change or delete any assets, dialogue, art, voices, consorts, etc. You and DFC have my permission to do whatever you'd like - no need for any approval on things :) Change 1% or 100% of the mod and anywhere in between. If you wanted to mention that I started the mod or even if you don't mention me at all, are both acceptable to me. I don't need to be credited as this was just a part time hobby that I uploaded for free, and I don't have any personal ties to it. I wish I had the exported art so you could easily change it, but I lost them on my external drive along with the voice clips. So I basically have what you have in terms of files that come in this mod when you subscribe to it.

@Paramaya, I noticed that you said at the end of the description that the mod was open to being adopted..? A friend and myself were both working together to make a Don't Starve Homestuck mod without realising the existence of this one! If you wouldn't mind, we would be more than grateful to be able to continue on this mod. I can send you some of the assests and general stuff we've been working on if you want. I really hope that you can give us this oppurtunity :)

I am hoping to see an update with the alpha kids in there at some point. It would be pretty cool to have Dirk, Jake, Jane, and Roxy as playable characters as well. I love the characters though! use this one all the time while playing! Thank you!

Only 'issue' I have is just a nitpick, but I wish more of the characters had custom voice lines. That's just a small nitpick, otherwise this mod is wonderful. Great work.

June Egbert has not been canonically introduced into the series, and was stated to most likely appear in a strange homestuck fashion, coexisting with John.

@Valentine Chardonnay the separate character mods that I have were before I started to intertwine everything. Honestly I just don't have the time or drive currently to pick this apart to upload separately. There is a configuration setting to disable grist recipes (frogs are included in that) and to set the spawn rate of the frogs to 0. That should eliminate any need for frogs.

@Zombie I had that idea, too, but wasn't able to make it work... I think it's too far out of my skill range, unfortunately.

@picigu9 Thank you! I wasn't sure what to do with some characters, so they did remain bare-bones. And possibly in the future I'll add in alpha characters and others.

could you make separate mod versions for every troll, please? (at least nepeta, sollux and eridan) like you did with equius and some characters
your sburb item making system is nice, but the frog getting is a bit difficult for me

An interesting thing to do would be to put a touch'stone type structure for the characters around the world, and if they die on it(their skeleton is on the bed) and they haunt it as a ghost, they will revive as a god tier, and get various bonuses based on their classpect.

This mod is great! I hope that you eventually add more features to each character because I feel like some characters like Equius are kind of bare-bones, and need a few more features. I hope you also add the Alpha characters as well, and maybe even some other characters like Jack and Calliope/Calliborn and more. But otherwise, great work!
