@Ready It's been a long time since I made these, but I'm pretty sure I did not resize them in any way, so they are the same size here that they are in HLS.

I noticed these models are a bit more bigger than the other hd hls human models, are they like that in the game or should it be fixed?

do these PM's require Half-Life Source, or is all the content packed in?

Its fairly common info in the grand scheme of infamous things about HL:S, there isnt much more to it than that, someone claimed to be the reason this became a thing but obviously cannot be verified.

By official, i mean Valve or Gearbox didnt make these, these were made by the community and tossed into HL:S, their inclusion is official, but the models themselves are not, while some of the models were based on the PS2 HD models (which are also different from the PC HD pack), the HECU seem to be mostly original.

@Gunslinger ☢ Interesting backstory, I did not know that. Got any articles that explain the story more? It seems interesting.

NB: You seem to be confused about what official means. Valve included these models in HLS; that plainly makes these models official HLS content. I then ripped those models from HLS to create this addon. If these models were not official Valve content, then they would be missing from an unmodified HLS install and require a separate download from a third-party, which they do not.

@Mr. Blue It's the M9K M4A1. Its models are originally from gamebana iirc. I think Inconceivable has a list somewhere detailing where he got many of the models from.

@bob smith Hmm, well, if they created original models, then those models are the property of the Sven Coop authors. They would need to give express permission to redistribute their work here on the gmod workshop.

@TiberiumFusion No, they use new HD models now, and they are very good. Better yet, nobody has made a NPC pack with them.

@bob smith Do you mean the GoldSrc HD models? I'm not too familiar with Sven Coop, but I don't think it replaces any assets from HL. There's a pretty good chance those models already exist as playermodels on the workshop.

@Jan2004pl Hm, maybe. In general, there seems to be a lack of the HD GoldSrc models from Opposing Force. If I ported them, I'd want to do all 16 variants in a single pack. (which might take a little while)

@soldier That definitely looks like a fan mod... If the mod owner gives express permission to use his assets, or if they are already licensed for re-use, then it'd be OK to use them.

nah, other people had garrys mod forever and then played hl and hl2 for the first time and made cool stuff from that game into here.
