"I did the namira quest but when it was time to get the ring, it gave me the ring of life detection, i tried getting it through console commands, but it gave me the ring of life detection again, so can you please make it so the ring doesn't replace the actual ring of namira? I wanna return to my savagery." Yah, that happened to me, too. Now I can't eat humans. :C
1:You seem to have left the daedric artifact tag as well as the references to npc scripts where they will comment to the player as if they were wearing the Ring of Namira (guards saying you stink just because you can see their souls, etc). I highly doubt that was intended behavior.
2:You will need to actually scrub the item, not just mark it for deletion, otherwise you will actually remove the base ring from the game entirely and break the quest even worse.
3:All Rings of life Detection in a save before the upgrade will become Rings of Namira afterward.
Easiest way to fix it is to duplicate the Ring of life detection (which will create a new item ID), change all references for crafting recipies to the new version, and then scrub the original so that nothing will be overwriting the base Ring of Namira.
There are things in here that I didnt even know about and Ive been playing skyrim for years.
AWESOME MOD
