@jeskyle, I guess you're lucky then, not everyone notices this issue as much as others.

@Ramblin Vik. Haha, exactly.

Arrows are not OP? Really? Ok, I like to run around in light armor, difficulty at normal, and no command cheats to make my health super high. I can take dual wielding berzerkers, Barbarians using geat axes the size of my grand mother, none of their whimpy flailing even taps my health bar enough for me to care being as I roll resto, but one fucking crit arrow and I'm insta-dead? are you shitting me? if this was gonna be realistic, like you guys think it should be, find a mod to fix melee so a iron sword can kill in one blow and cause you to bleed out if you survive the inital hit. You'd be lucky to have survived a dagger stab realistically, so quit whine about realism in a game where you can kill dragons with sith lighting.

This is a needed change for mages at high level. Thank you. Don't listen to the idiots crying about "balance" in a SINGLE PLAYER game. If arrow damage is one-shottting you despite you doing your best to boost HP and armor, and it is detracting from your enjoyment of this game, get this mod. If you are having fun despite arrows doing tons of damage, then don't download the mod. I, for one, will be getting this.

Then you're either not a high level or have very high armor rating.

I think something is wrong with youre game because ive never been killed in oneshot by an archer.

Guards shoot me point-blank. Draugr usually have the higher ground. I have major issues with fighting archers, as they almost always have line of sight with me. And yes, this mod is only for those that don't play archer characters using vanilla arrows/bows. Modded ones remain unchanged.

I've never felt arrow damage was too high truth be told. Not only that I myself never really fought archers in the open where they can fire on me freely. I usually used terrain to my advantage where they wouldn't have Line of Sight on me and so would have to be constantly moving to get a shot off.

I'd say that this mod is only for those that aren't playing archer characters.

Then use a mod that increases the damage of all weapons. This mod is for people who want to have fun playing the game, not for people who wants a combat simulator.

This is silly, realistically speaking also... I sure don't want to have to shoot someone 20 times and they sure shouldn't have to shoot me 20 times. it should take 1 shot because it really does take one shot. Use god mode if you want but making something sadly imbalanced even more unbalanced serves no purpose.

Oh, it's OP. It may be "realistic" to some point, but it's simply not fun. On the point of realism, you'd think getting hit in the head with 30 sword slashes would kill you, but it doesn't in this game, so one arrow shouldn't either.

To be hounest, the arrow damage in Skyrim isn't to OP, infact it probably isn't. The medieval British Lonbow could pierce the toughfest of armours and leave the other side. But a sword would rarely pierce proper, steel armour, certainly not on the first blow.
