The mirrors do yes but you need to start a new game for the recipe to appear.

Unfortunately you need to start a new game for the mirror recipe to appear in your crafting list. Also yes mirrors can appear as a vendor item for Slavyans and Scavengers, not sure about the other races. Unfortunately if a mirror does appear at a vendor and you buy it you will need to separate your people immediately before ending your turn as it will activate the transformation power.

Hi, this mod is exactly what I am hoping for as for some reason I can't stand to have multiple characters with the same portrait. However, the mirror has not shown up in the crafting screen after uploading to a saved game. Was it determined that it doesn't work on a saved file? As a corollary I did have a weird experience where the mirrors showed up as vendor items from Scavengers. There were 4 of them in a stack. Unfortunately as soon as I purchased them and then hit the end of turn button it changed everyone in the group right from the inventory I guess. I had to go back to a previous save to get my originals back. Subsequently I have never run across them in any vendor/trade screens again. Is this possible or was I hallucinating?

To be honest we have no idea if it's even possible to do that. If something like that could be done it would probably have to work within the confines of what is already available like the Chosen Select screen and if that is the the case then it would likely only be the Chosen you could change.

Why not just let the player choose from any available portrats at any time for free? It does not change anything in the game, it would just make the player enjoy the run more.

It works on new games, but for some reason I cannot make it work on old saves, must be something on my part, thank you anyway, it's a great mod!

Was the mod activated? Because the mirror doesn't need to be researched, it'a already available to you.
Also check the images in the slideshow at the top of the screen. It shows you its position in the craft menu.

As for the mirror itself. Once you craft a mirror you need to end your turn and when the next turn begins the mirror will be activated and removed from your inventory. Then everyone in the group has their portraits move along one.

So a female human warrior using portrait 1 becomes portrait 2 etc etc. The only exception is if someone is using the last portrait in which case their portrait cycles around back to the first portrait.

How does it work? I cannot find it in the crafting menu nor I see a tech to unlock it.
