Go into the mod's directory of the character, and search for the sprite used on the nightmare/level transition cutscene, copy it and paste on the same folder that has the vs screen sprite.
The sprite you copied must have the same name as the one that originally was on the vs screen folder, so you gotta rename it.
You dont need to delete the original one though, you can change its name in case you wanna disable this mod and revert the changes you made.

If I may ask, how does one add support for modded characters such as Adam by themselves? I tried looking through the files but couldn't figure it out on my own. Thanks in advance!

Ohlookpuppies Sometimes that happens the first time you download/enable a mod, restarting the game should fix that problem.

The boss vs screen is bugged. I was playing with Lazarus, and the only thing different about the screen is that Lazarus' sprite was way bigger and clipping through the floor.

It's gonna suck when Repentance comes out and I potentially can't use this anymore until mods are fixed/supported again.
