looks neat, but demo video didn't inspire me. Music(?) in the video is kind of weird and feels like this will get annoying very quickly. How about trying to find some badass music, then perhaps this has more potential.

Little music note's instead of stars may look a hole lot better and more beat changes, as with typical music of the modern world today, this is truly a unique piece of work, hope this helps.
Zowieanna Zanthia Dec 3, 2013 @ 10:35pm
This is interestingly beautiful, good luck with the Greenlight OK :)
Olimarrex Nov 4, 2013 @ 2:58am
it sounds interesting but really needs some better music or sound affects (moanmoanmoanmonamoanblablablablmoan)
after all that is kind of the name of the game

It sounds great, I can't wait until it is greenlighted. :)

[LINUX] Hot Sick Oct 11, 2013 @ 5:48pm
Fact: The average attention span of a mobile device 'gamer' is 90 seconds.

Candy Crush and all the wash of iOS swill only succeeds at all becuase it's marginally more interesting than staring at a wall or out a bus window.... well, at least, for 90 seconds it is.
Ne0star Oct 11, 2013 @ 8:43am
candy crush saga its a simple game too but its very famous
[LINUX] Hot Sick Oct 11, 2013 @ 6:44am
This is a boring, oversaturated sub-genre of rhythm games. It takes almost zero effort to slap together this kind of shit from scratch, yet you're using middleware [read: Unity] that does most of the complicated bits for you. Coding this is a highschool project, at best.

With such lack of creativity and coding talent being self-evident, we might optimistically believe that you attempt make up for it in visual detail. However, you fail to even make it look polished -- which is pretty sad, all things considered.

Go to iOS/Android/et al, where quality standards are non-existant. Those vacuous plebs will [apparently] buy anything; sounds like your perfect market.

"We didn't bother putting any effort in level generation, so here's a dime a dozen algorithm to make music into a level". Nope.
Douchious Bagius Oct 8, 2013 @ 10:44pm
If you could make it capable of playing your own music, this would be worth an instant buy from me.
jkerps01 Oct 7, 2013 @ 5:39pm
Pretty cool little game. Very unique
Lonely Kids Studio  [author] Oct 7, 2013 @ 7:50am
@zhukovy01 The game is developed with Unity3D. There is no demo yet.

I'll bet +

Which engine do you use?
Where can I download DEMO?
eduardo92010 Oct 6, 2013 @ 7:31pm
Perhaps we could use our own music for the game?
Drace Nines Oct 6, 2013 @ 3:54pm
Meh. While the game doesn't look like anything special, the soundtrack definitely is catchy.
[LnX]leillo1975 Oct 6, 2013 @ 8:20am
That´s ok!!!! Thanks for the Linux versión of this game. Steam users with Linux will surely be very thankful to play this game. Include also a bit of Heavy Metal

@Tom Clancy's Ghost:
Thanks for your feedback, we appreciate being able to communicate with the community over the Game. That’s one of the reasons we put “SoundBurst!” up on Greenlight. The levels showcased through the videos are not the most hectic : we even designed one specifically to introduce the concept and basic features of the Game. The regular levels are actually faster, longer and more intense. We’re working on presenting another video.

@[S.W.E] Malanore: When we initially designed “SoundBurst!”, we discarded that option as getting each note separately is virtually impossible without the Master Tapes. The Tracks in “SoundBurst!” were specifically composed for the Game by The Mapples []. We added a few examples in the game description.

@HELLHATH: There are quite a few musical types in the Game, enough to satisfy most, according to us.
Lonely Kids Studio  [author] Oct 6, 2013 @ 7:14am
Thanks you all for your support.

@McMarius11: This kind of game does have a rightful place on PC and Mac. That’s the beauty and playful wealth of Computers in Gaming.

@Acejhm: This is not a AAA, nor does it have the price of one! We want to offer an experience that we feel is worth taking a look. The content is substantial indeed : different levels and worlds, capacities, bonus...

@Yura Welcome: “SoundBurst!” is not a rhythm game. The Level design is semi-procedural.
Doctor Fudge Oct 6, 2013 @ 7:08am
I'd buy it if it wasn't using shitty techno music. I wish rhythm game designers in general would get over electronica. Maybe do something with heavy metal that's nothing like Guitar Hero? Whatever, no for me.

Neraka Oct 6, 2013 @ 1:40am
I was wondering if you would be able to use your own music?
Benirus Oct 5, 2013 @ 11:03pm
This is a good idea people love rhythm games but you wont be able to establish enough interest in this game from the fans of rhythm games if the pacing of the game is as slow as shown in the videos (see OSU!, DDR Guitar Hero etc.
i'm Also concerned for the quality of sounds and music there is in this, its like my first attempt at FL Studio haha, obviously it's still in development though I cant wait to see what comes of this.
ChunkyMonkey Oct 5, 2013 @ 6:42pm
