i tried with some weapons but it just makes the game impossible to start if you have this mod installed...

I believe you did but I am pretty sure there is some mod that you may have that is affecting it. If it's not too much of bother maybe you can list out what you have subscribed?

make sure you have no other weapons mod installed

the muzzle flash does not appear for me and seems like it does not light up dark areas (in the preview)
