Not sure if you found an answer to this question or not, but I noticed they will just opt to the next available stop along their route, or they will just opt to walk it out. It almost seems as if they are programmed to use whatever the designated route is, and if it's not working then they just walk. At least that's what I have noticed. It could be different. I use TONS of mods, so my game is heavily affected in many different ways to fit my style of gameplay.
I think the AI could be better programmed, though, but then we are talking CS1 here, so it is what it is.

It appears the moment I press play in game and it loops forever. I can't even get into the menu to quit the game.
I installed it with 'real time' at the same time, and tried it separately and this is the only one that gives that problem. Also Skyve says that it is deprecated and causes stability issues.
Is real time gonna be updated, because the comments are saying the're problems with some of real time's simulation.
SECOND PART OF THE MESSAGE
1) THEN ADD(second rule) : "try to check for different public transport"
IF there is different public transport and still far away from goal location
THEN use the different public transport.
2) IF the citizen is close to goal location after checking 1-3 stations if available
THEN do not check/try to use different public transport and just walk.
AND IF the citizen is far away from the goal location when check for different public transport there is none then keep trying to verify each station if available until reaching a certain distance from the main goal(not to close)
AND IF still not space available in the station and get too close then stop verifying and just walk.
I know it's a lot of coding with IF/THEN/ADD ... but please i beg you if u manage to do that... You will make me wish to play this game again.. and I'll also send a donation. Thank you! I hope you understand the message.. have a wonderful day/night
Sadly there is a huge problem with it. I'll explain myself:
For instance, if i set up a bus station on having 100 people and the 101 guy comes he will understand that there is no more space for him and go away. Up to now the mod is doing his job.
THE MAIN PROBLEM IS :
That guy that go away because there is no more space for him, he's walking straight up to his goal location instead of just going to the next station or taking another type of public transport.
So here is my request, please... :
Add few rules to the mod : (read carefully please and add them in this odrer to make sense)
If citizen try to go to his FIRST station but no space for him THEN check NEXT station up to 1-3 checks (would be nice for the player to be able to set up that in game) . IF the next station(s) is/are full like the first one
THIS IS FIRST PART CAUSE TOO LONG.
