I just wish to say I love your mod and have been a fan for ages, I just have a question that if could answer would hopefully give me some insight. Why no compatibility with Planetary Diversity? Is it just a technical issue that doesn't mesh well? Or do you not want the mod played alongside alpha mod. It was probably mentioned sometime along the way i just cant find it.

One of the best mods for me when I want to fight with a huge fleet with less fps drops haha. Great mod, if it's ready for 2.6.1 I'll def become a pat.

Great news and take your time.

Finished vanilla game. Started on AlphaMod update. Initial testing - it's missing a lot of the additions made in 2.6. So if you're happy to manage without bureaucrats and supporting infrastructure, you'll just have a spammed up error.log to worry about.

My advice, stick with vanilla. I can now give an ETA for AlphaMod 2.6 of one week. Subject to change.

Play into mid-game, then eyeball error.log for me chap. Cheers.

For what it's worth, things seem to be pretty much working fine.

I afford to clone myself. Maybe.

Also, clicking on the banners above mysteriously gives me more time for modding. Capitalism.

Not sure yet. I'm struggling to find time to just play the update (I have a contract and bills), which I need to do before I can assess the impact. The fact the vanilla AI is actually competitive and not single-mindedly blobbing, already tells me that there'll need to be a major overhaul of the AI in AlphaMod.

When I've finally had time to get bored of vanilla (eta 1 week), I'll activate AlphaMod and then spend a day weeping at the error.log. That's when I'll be able to give a better estimate on updating AlphaMod. As with previous updates, the mod may end up being dissected and released as stand-alone modules initially. But I really don't want that hassle again.

Is it going to be a matter of days? Weeks? Longer? Just asking, sorry if I sound pushy, quarantine made me restless ^^'

Pretty certain it'll be a fresh publish, since I've figured out some of the crap with the new launcher.

When/if you update Alphamod for 2.6 (on your time, of course), do you think you'll update this page or start a new one? Just wondering if I need to stay subbed here or just start keeping an eye out in a few weeks.

There are some other mods that need a certain load order to work with AM like "Bigger Planet View", "Mod Menu" or even StarNet AI. Took me some time to figure out how but it finally worked out. Just let me know if you need input.

I'm just happy that Ash has updated AM and his other mods because they are, at least for me, must-have-mods.

I have to thank you guys for keeping them up to date, not you me for some hours I put in. I was just too stubborn to accept that AM will not run any more even before the update to AM 2.5.

The follwing load order hast to be kept in order to make UI-Overhaul work with AM

UI-Overhaul Dynamic
UI-Overhaul Dynamic - Extended Top Bar
AlphaMod
XX Builkding Slots (Several different versions of it available for UI-Overhaul - Check the mod page. No need to modify the defines)

This load order works. If you do not load the mods an add-on's for it in this order it will not work. You will see no additional building slots and get a weird mixture of vanilla and UI-Overhaul interface.

!!! Universal Resource Patch has to be the very last mod you load. If not it will not work correctly.
This load order works fine for me.
