Can't wait for the game to be released. I've been following it for a loooooong time now.
Czar Petrovich Jun 20, 2017 @ 8:34am
Glad to hear it! Wish you the best
Hunt Game Studios  [author] Jun 20, 2017 @ 7:02am
@Czar Petrovich It's still happening, but going through some reimagining. No update to the release date at this point but it’s definitely still in development.
Czar Petrovich May 28, 2017 @ 12:16pm
So is this not happening?
PixelPuppy May 10, 2016 @ 12:04am
When is this game coming out! It's looking better and better, but I wanna play it!!
Loving Tonberry Mar 18, 2016 @ 11:21am
I'm actually curious, i wonder if this... or... lamulana 2 will come out first.
well which ever does will get my full attention first until i finish it.
^_^// Ganbare!
Loving Tonberry Mar 18, 2016 @ 11:11am
wow, it's been like 2 years sence i last looked at this... because i forgot this was a thing.
With the new pixel art-work this is looking more and more like an SNES version of Alundra which is a FANTASTIC thing. i hope that it's as long and hard as that series in terms of puzzles/platforming or puzzle platforming and bosses, mid or otherwise.

i looks like you guys really care about your project and im really happy to see this kind of dedication.
i have a few games in my library like dungeonmans where the author threw up his hands and said "im done" after putting in a final dungeon. to work on something else.
That's the kinda of development i don't care to see.

Is there an estimated time-line you have on finishing Gheldia? within the next 9 months
or sometime next year?

looking forward to your next update.
PixelPuppy Feb 19, 2016 @ 4:43pm
Oh wow! Updates! I'm glad it's still being worked on!
nyxbot17 Jan 8, 2016 @ 9:07am

Zadenados Jun 28, 2015 @ 7:25pm
ahh, i cant wait! keep up the good work!
Hunt Game Studios  [author] Jun 28, 2015 @ 4:32pm
@Zadenados – We apologize for the long delay in getting out new information but the game is definitely still in development. We experienced some slowdown earlier this year on the development side due to other priorities. However, we are hard at work building out a new site which will feature a good deal of new content (art, screens, story info). The plan right now is to have that up by August/September. Thank you for your continued patience.
Zadenados Jun 27, 2015 @ 5:32pm
is this game still going to happen? because i've been waiting 2 years for this
Justin_Brett Oct 1, 2014 @ 4:57pm
Looks really cool.
Fishman465 Sep 10, 2014 @ 7:37pm
I apologize, somehow I forgot to vote yes despite favoriting this.
sirrobim Aug 30, 2014 @ 4:09am
looks zelda style
Hunt Game Studios  [author] Aug 29, 2014 @ 4:22pm
The game’s content is still under development so we don’t want to give a new estimate until we are closer to completion. However, the game will be priced similarly to downloadable console games. Thanks for the interest!
EB64 Aug 28, 2014 @ 7:57pm
Looks really interesting! How much will this cost once released?
Natron Aug 20, 2014 @ 10:03pm
Im in!
Hunt Game Studios  [author] Aug 19, 2014 @ 8:56am
Thank you all for your support! Progress has been very steady lately with weekly updates on our website. We hope you are all looking forward to the final game as much as we are!
djyatta Aug 11, 2014 @ 11:06am
voted, and waiting for the launch!
speedmetalextremist Aug 7, 2014 @ 1:06pm
Kinda reminds me of the older Zelda games, such as A Link to the Past. Looks like it should be good! Good luck!

Realtime battle in classic RPG setting, count me in!
TokyoKitty Jul 1, 2014 @ 4:20pm

I'm expecting this game. Good luck greenlight. Cheer up~! :D
Hunt Game Studios  [author] Jun 3, 2014 @ 9:46am
@zadenados – We’ve had other priorities take our attention away from game development for a while but we are shooting for a release by the end of the year. Once we have a better idea we’ll let everyone know.

@materialism – The length of the game will be determined by how much you want to explore. Right now are shooting for 5 hours for a first-time play through.

@philosopherjb – We are still tweaking the weapon speed/damage/range but we want all three weapons to behave differently and have advantages in different situations. The game supports Xbox360 controllers and you can use key mappers if you don’t have one.
Thanks to everyone who voted and has supported us so far. We really appreciate it!
Zadenados Jun 1, 2014 @ 10:04am
how much longer until this is released?! cant wait to play, all the nostolgia of the retro classics, instant buy.
Loving Tonberry May 28, 2014 @ 12:23am
i've been looking for something like this for a while now, hopefully it will be lengthful. Im talking link to the past long. I don't count doing the same dungeon again but with a different exit as mentioned above apart of my selfish criteria
philosopherjb May 23, 2014 @ 5:59pm
Nice looking game, and it looks like a lot of fun. I'll vote yes on this one. My only concern is that too slow of a weapon swing in games like this can get annoying after long periods of play. But, as long as the story is good, and the game has controller compatability, I'd buy it.
+ May 18, 2014 @ 5:41pm
Looks like zelda 1, sweet. Voted
Initiative May 1, 2014 @ 5:24pm
Why hasn't this been Greenlit yet? I am seriously down for some 16-bit RPG goodness.

Godofthechicken Mar 22, 2014 @ 5:39pm
Hey Hunt one of your friends JIM NOVAK told me about your game. I will be buying on xbox 360 and if it gets on steam I will buy it there too. Reminds me of pokemon. Keep up the good work!

classic j-game, cool))))
FlamboyantMongoose Feb 24, 2014 @ 4:16am
my heavy nostalgia for final fantasy adventure forces a yes vote
also my desire for more new classic style action rpg besides the crystalis/illusion of gaia-inspired evil quest and that garbage two brothers game
DragonSeeker Feb 15, 2014 @ 9:51pm
Reminds me of Final Fantasy. XD
Hunt Game Studios  [author] Feb 3, 2014 @ 2:57pm
@UltimateFantasy We appreciate you taking a look at Gheldia and the invite to the group. Things have been very busy lately with other work but development should pick up again shortly.

Good luck with your Kickstarter!
Fellstrike Games™ Jan 28, 2014 @ 1:15pm
Fantastic! I naturally have a soft-spot for retro-style games, so this is already beautiful to me. That is also a very good list of features, and not too many to make it confusing/over-stuffed. Upvoted and I hope you accept my community invitation to celebrate old-school games and connect with more potential players for your game(s)!

this game looks amazing, its like zelda, but it seems more like a classic RPG.
Runtus Jan 18, 2014 @ 3:27pm
Yes yes everything looks like everything else. What a joyless existance. On a positive note I think the game looks like a lot of fun.
Orbister Jan 14, 2014 @ 9:02pm
@GunMod Zelda had better graphics though...

This was done 25 years ago, it's called Zelda
Hunt Game Studios  [author] Nov 21, 2013 @ 9:46am
@D_Gonzo – Multiplayer was something we looked at early on but the challenge of implementing it across all the different platforms was too much to tackle along with the core game development. We are focusing our efforts on making a great single player experience.

@FantasticFranco – We are currently looking into adding additional platform support for Linux. Unfortunately, we have no plans at this time to port to Mac.

Thank you all for the comments! We will be uploading a new video by the end of the month that showcases some new music so check it out when it’s available.

Reminds me of Soul Blazer on the SNES! Looks brilliant. Thumbs up!
