I was using the sound replacement for my revovler, everything works nicely except, every 2 seconds presicely after a shot is fired, it makes a quick Electric sound, like a bug being zapped or something, it does this every time i fire a shot, its Bang bang bang, and then followed by Zip, Zip, Zip, it wouldnt be even a problem if it wasnt for the fact its extremely loud and annoying, any advice or explanations as to why this may occur.

weird cuz it doesnt... i've got a revolver (texture only) add-on, which has the reguar desert eagle sound... =/

The only thing this replaces is the sound file, meaning the other mod does the same.

Didn't replace anything. It removed my sound. So now when I pull it out or reload my magnum, I get a loud screech making the gun completely unwanted.
If it didn't work, fine, but now I can't fix my sound. Even verified 3 times, seeing if I got it back.

Amazing sound. Anyone else getting a high pitched screen a few seconds after shooting with this sound though? Only happens occassionally.

To those who have bugs with this sound - have you tried using Magnum Fire Sound Replacement that I linked? Does it work normally, without issues?

I love this sound, and it works fine (mostly), but sometimes after firing, I'll hear random noises, like squeaks or buzzes.

Had a problem where the sound for the magnum turned from a pleasing blast into a a noise more like a snowball hitting a pillow. Will look into fixing but I hope this wasn't the cause.

Have you tried Un-installing and Re-Installing the mod itself, i have found the effect to be slightly less apparant then the first time

Yes, i did this yesterday when all ingame sound stoped working. I still got the sound errors before and after doing this.

http://youtu.be/2ZwsFkbQ_Tg Here you go the pitch actually changes from each time, and sound sometimes isnt a chirp, but like a splat from mud. I noticed it happened in the middle of a map and not after a transition which makes me wonder whats going on because its not like it isn't loading properly.
