As a lover of Elder Scrolls lore, I'm indebted to you for bringing the collection to Skyrim. Thank you!

I am doing my first play through where I actually read books (my last 80 play throughs, I just ignored them) and this is perfect.
Wendersnaven 30. juli 2015 kl. 16:03

This is the BEST ever! The lore is so much a part of the joy of the Elder Scrolls. What an inspired concept! THANKS!

You're free to do whatever you want. I know some people have asked if I could do a German version, but that's beyond my abilities.
Eliott Blue 16. sep. 2014 kl. 2:25
Hi there, has somebody already translated it to french ? I'd love to have them but some are kinda hard to read (and it's weird to have books in english when I play a game in french ^^)
If not, would you mind if I tried ? Based on official translations (such as find in "La Grande Librairie de Tamriel" website).

Leif 12. sep. 2013 kl. 12:24
Ah, I love your Mod. Thanks for the prompt response. I love collecting all of the Old books.
1776 Moog  [ophavsmand] 12. sep. 2013 kl. 8:53
Nope.
Leif 12. sep. 2013 kl. 1:00
Did you add the quest 'The Bad People' ? If so I really wish it was removed.
Blackgrin 13. dec. 2012 kl. 13:20
Fair enough. I assumed that was the point, thanks for the response regardless. :)

I wasn't familiar with Morrowind books being added to Dragonborn. When the time comes, I'll see what I can do. I plan on purchasing it as soon as its available for PC. I mostly feel like keeping it as is so people who do not have the content can still get these books. Also, I would imagine Dragonborn's books will not be added to leveled lists throughout the game and only appear within Dragonborn.

As for the preamble, considering it was written by Michael Kirkbride and that's the title he gave it, I didn't feel like changing it. This also applies to book titles with odd capitalization. The developers wrote it that way. It's not my business to change it.
Blackgrin 12. dec. 2012 kl. 19:07
I have a few inquiries. Ahem-hem.
A) Will you be updating this mod to reflect the fact a decent number of old Morrowind classics are being added in Dragonborn?
B) More a personal note, but would you consider altering the Preamble to the Songs of the Return so it's alphabetically friendly with the rest of the updated series in Skyrim, and change the in game model so it's similar to them? I've tried, but I can't seem to wrap my head around the creation kit.
1776 Moog  [ophavsmand] 30. nov. 2012 kl. 9:55
All the books are listed over on the Skyrim Nexus page.
Lady Zoner 30. nov. 2012 kl. 6:32
Can you post a list of all of the books added? Titles and such?
deacon8 4. nov. 2012 kl. 22:23
Oh ok, that's a really good way of doing it! Anyway, after looking around some more, I've been finding them. This is a great mod! Thank you
1776 Moog  [ophavsmand] 3. nov. 2012 kl. 10:39
They're "out in the world" by means of leveled lists. You'll find them on bodies, in cupboards, treasure chests, in stores, and the like. I haven't placed any of them on tables or in shelves if that's what you mean.
deacon8 2. nov. 2012 kl. 18:04
This may seem like a silly question, but are these books found out in the world or do you have to buy them? The reason I'm asking is because I recently got rid of my other book mod because it stopped working. I decided to get this one as a replacement. I haven't experiemented with it too much yet, but I don't think I've found any yet. So that's why I'm asking.
Winter Lantern 15. okt. 2012 kl. 2:11
Exactly what I was looking for! Now I just need to find a library where I can stuff ALL the books in. Gotta catch em all! Gotta read em all! :3
Statman 5. sep. 2012 kl. 10:50
it was an example and thanks for that
1776 Moog  [ophavsmand] 5. sep. 2012 kl. 10:00
There are no duplicates, if that's what you mean. If you're talking about the uncensored Barenziah book, I chose not to include it.
Statman 5. sep. 2012 kl. 2:09
are they replace ments for things like the real bareziah v2 (with the orginal content with the guild for example)
1776 Moog  [ophavsmand] 4. sep. 2012 kl. 10:49
I don't understand what you're asking, sorry.
Statman 4. sep. 2012 kl. 1:00
are the daggerfall books seperate versions (and are they there normal self for content)?
Sting Ray 25. juli 2012 kl. 13:02
Thank you.
1776 Moog  [ophavsmand] 24. juli 2012 kl. 13:48
Yes, as it says at the end of the third paragraph.
Sting Ray 24. juli 2012 kl. 11:28
Is it still compatable with Unlimited Bookshelves?
Freeasabird🕊 24. juni 2012 kl. 16:28
@moog.empire

Hay do you do requests/sugesstions? if so i have a REAL cool idea for a mod. Do you Like to read books? Ha!, of course you do. then howz about Writing your own books! (kinda like that Minecraft mod that allows you to write books with a quill and ink) You see were im going with this? Anyways yeah i wanna be able to write a journal on my adventures so i don't forget important things. or write an epic saga on my adventures so that others for ages to come will be able to read about my epic axploites XD That would be AWESOME and id'e sub, fave Thumb up, and freind request if you can do it :D
m_cura250 22. juni 2012 kl. 20:08
Thank you so much for adding the 36 Sermons!!! This keeps me busy for days questing for those books.....and then reading them
Alaric III 16. juni 2012 kl. 2:31
Great, Thank you :)
1776 Moog  [ophavsmand] 15. juni 2012 kl. 13:04
I'd be very surprised if Dawnguard tampers with what I've done. When people say "screw up mods", I think they're talking about things that involve the Skyrim Script Extender, custom races, or the zoneless cities. You know, those big mods that change a lot of the game, including how it works. All I did was copy/paste some books together (which Dawnguard won't be able to mess with) and put them in lists. These lists, if you look at my ReadMe on the Nexus, go into vendors all over the map. I doubt Dawnguard will mess with the inventories of these people. And if it does, I can always make a Dawnguard version of this mod.
Alaric III 15. juni 2012 kl. 12:57
Purely down to rumours that Dawnguard will screw up Mods...
Alaric III 15. juni 2012 kl. 12:56
If at all.
Alaric III 15. juni 2012 kl. 12:56
Awesome :) and this will probably be a little pre-emptive here, but what are the odds this mod will be affected by the Dawnguard DLC?
1776 Moog  [ophavsmand] 15. juni 2012 kl. 12:55
You don't have to worry about this corrupting saves or decreasing performance. All it does is add additional items to the lists the game uses for when you open chests or go to a store. The books are basically text files.
Alaric III 15. juni 2012 kl. 8:51
I play the game on the lowest settings, will this affect the performance of this mad at all? ie. increase lag or simply operate badly? And probably more importantly; what's the risk this mod will corrupt my saves?
Believe 21. maj 2012 kl. 15:38
Id like to be among the many to thank you for this great work
Ill be updating this and Unlimited Bookshelves to my Complete Collection
I've played Morrowind never played Oblivion so its great to have all these new boooks as apart of my Skyrim Experience
Toyota 14. maj 2012 kl. 16:56
Thanks moog.empire
1776 Moog  [ophavsmand] 13. maj 2012 kl. 13:08
All vendors restock every 3 days, I think. If you'd like a list of where to buy them, please see my ReadMe over at the Nexus. It's the gear with the exclamation point in the center.
Toyota 13. maj 2012 kl. 12:22
Does anybody know where i can buy them all? I checked the orc in winterhold but he only had about 10 or 20 books for sale. Do they restock or something or is it glitched? Thanks in advance.
Lady Zoner 6. maj 2012 kl. 16:38
@moog.empire
Thank you for replying!
1776 Moog  [ophavsmand] 5. maj 2012 kl. 18:03
@DarkFairy003 The easiest way to find an item code for your specific load order is to type
help "the name of the item" 4
into the console. Use Page Up and Page Down to flip through the list. Just try
help "vivec" 4
and that should give you the item codes for all of the sermons.
Munion 3. maj 2012 kl. 20:04
YES! YES! YYYEEESSS! Thank you for making this, exactly what I was looking for.
Lady Zoner 3. maj 2012 kl. 10:16
Hmm. Great mod! But I request making all the books available from the Orc in the College of Winterhold, or the Bard's College, considering these have the largest selection of books Skyrim has to offer, so I think it would make sense for all of the books to be available from them. Or could you at least upload the item codes for the books? It's been 6 hours for me, and I've only gotten 9 of the 36 Sermons of Vivec. It's just a bit frustrating when you're looking for a certain book, only for the shopkeeper's inventory to change every two days...
MalZen 21. apr. 2012 kl. 15:55
haha I think I belong to this discussion pages community. Yall make me feel like I just made some relevant arguments rather than just nerd rage troll ranting. ahahaha. but seriously. disappointed in Beth
alenha 20. apr. 2012 kl. 16:01
