Since i have the hearthfire dlc my breezehome has a childrens bedroom instead of an alchemy lab.This mod solved all my problems it has an arcane enchanter and an alchemy lab.I love this mod!

It's nice to have free place to spend the night while waiting for shops to open, and a secure place to store crafting stuff, ect. Breezehome is nice when a dragonborn gets the gold to buy & equip it, but this place is still useful after buying the trophy home for storage and crafting.

I do love this player home. No loading screns and it's not a big fancy houses which makes you say 'Wtf do I do with this place?'. Only problem is I now don't have a place to his the bodies strewn across the streets… I mean, who likes seeing vampire corpses? ;)

It is a nice spot for the begining character to take a rest and do a bit of crafting in those cash poor begining stages before the first dragon fight.

It's actually quite useful for going between crafting and enchanting/alchemy because of the no-loading doors. Thumbs up.

@Freeasabird420 Well, to be honest, I don't really know. I just had the desire to do it, and apparently there are other people who also do as well.

OMG!!!! This is a hilarious mod when combined with the Beggar mod..... Priceless! Love the small, compact space for this house.

Okay, okay..... I finally subscribed.... Just had to, couldn't rsist anymore...... Especially since I also just downloaded the Beggar mod. Should work well together..... Now to start a new character and see what happens, Lol!

It conflicts with Open Cities Skyrim. Could you possibly fix this? I'm also running TAVE for whiterun and it's exterior. When both opencitiesskyrim.esp and humbleabode.esp are enabled - I get crashes when trying to exit breezehome or similar surrounding buildings. The load screen will stay open indefinitely and when I alt+tab, it tells me it crashed. I'd definitely be using this home mod if it weren't for this conflict, because I love Open Cities.

If you're planning to make a winterhold home, perhaps have a trapdoor in the bridge that leads across to the college of winterhold, with a staircase leading down to a small balcony-like home suspended beneath the bridge, with a similair style. Perhaps have it multi-leveled and built into one of the rotundas? Each floor could have a purpose. Anyways just throwing ideas around here because this mod is wonderful

Interesting idea, really. And what makes everyone think a beggar would have to steal a broken enchanter's table and alchemy lab? Whiterun is a city. The previous owners could have bought new ones and thrown the old ones out. Trash is fair game for the taking, isn't it? And, it's free.

I wouldn't call that a begger. I'd call any player living in such a home either a penny-pincher, or a hippy. Call me both! :p

still, nice idea, but for a begger RPer its not exactly lorefriendly. at least make a way of selling them to someone.

why would a beggar, with no money, have expensive equipment like alchemy stations and enchanters, and not sell them?

I love this. It goes together so well with the whole 'beggar' life,stealing things and putting them in the house is always fun

@sackadung Hmm. Unfortunately I don't know what to tell you except to be doubly sure everything is in the right place and make sure the "Humble Abode" box in data files is ticked. Try thoroughly explaining on the forums, maybe someone wiill see something I don't.

+1 to Fistfight, after you beat the beggar you could choose to kick him or be a nice guy and share the "house".

@SkildNinja Well there is a mechanic already in the game where you can be challenged to a fistfight. maybe that could be used to get the beggar out, and he would reward you with a set of begger clothes as a reward along with the house. I know that means setting up a lot of stuff, but hey, just having fun with the idea.

@Akhilleus Haha I thought about doing something a lot like that, but I decided that there were probably a lot of people who didn't want to brutally murder a defenseless beggar and take all his stuff XD

@sackadung What other mods do you have installed? It could be a conflicting mod causing the problem.

I think it would be funny if, in order to move into the little shack, you had to kill the bum living there in a fistfight, and you would get the begger's outfit off of him.
