Love this and your other mods, just a little annoyed that dropping the torch is automatic, would rather a hotkey that just dropped a torch from inventory.

The hotkey torch power's picture looks funny (completely blown up and greyed out) can this be changed?

Great mod, General! The basic function is just one more of those little things that could/should have been in the game proper. ^_^

Right major update to improve reliability

@Panbot 3000: Yeah but thats by design. Use the hotkey torch to equip the torch back in the left hand or keep your weapons drawn.

Loved this from Oblivion. My only issue is that when I equip a spell without my weapons drawn the torch gets unequipped. Still beats switching to and casting candlelight every minute though :)

Great mod! Though it'd be pretty cool if the torches could lit oil slicks when dropped near them.

Love this mod! Great job General Kysieran, I added this to my collection. Only improvement I can suggest is have the torch die after dropped in water, thought it was odd that it can sit in a stream with no problem. Thanks!

@Ubertotle: I've added a check into 1.4 to make sure the dropped torch has the same owner as when it was in your inventory.

Nether of my torches are stolen. They where actualy taken from fallowers. It could just be a problem with my game though.

@Ubertortle: That might be the case if the original torch was stolen. I havn't had this happen for ordinary torches. Unfortunatly the UI bundles stolen and normal torches into the same icon in the inventory making it difficult to realise.

New bug. When the torch is droped it makes the torch not owned. and to pick it up is considered stealing so if used in town your caught commiting a crime.

If its a standard LIGHT record it will attempt to be dropped. You can only try it and see if it does get dropped or not.

I will be trying to fix the hovering torch bug, I have no intention of leaving it there :D It just requires a bit more time to solve without introducing any other side effects.

'Was an Oblivion must-have plugin if memory serves. Sub'd, Fav'd and Rated.
A few questions, though:
I know you've stated that this SHOULD work with light sources from other plugins, but I was wondering if anyone could clarify that it works with Gunner.STC's Weildable Lanturn plugin?
Also, will you be looking to fix the "hovering torch" bug or is there nothing you can do abut it?

Cheers for this!
