Shoot the spikes that have red lightning coursing through them when the boss is using its death ray. When it's shooting fireballs and making ground spikes shoot the eye or main body. You'll do this three or so times before it finally dies. 4/10 the boss fight is extremely one-sided since the ai doesn't register the boss as an enemy.

Boss fight was incredibly unfair. Game gives you grenade launcher and chainsaw to use against him right before fighting him but once you get into the fight they do not work against him (grenades bounce off of him harmlessly and you get pushed away from him too much for the chainsaw to hit him). The map on its own also breaks your first-person camera view unless you get a community-made fix addon. That's just sad. Downvoting this.

So about the boss fight...how much health does it have? because I shot it with an ak for 30 minutes and I felt like I was getting no where. Someone PLEASE help me

One of the oldest maps in the entire Left 4 Dead modding scene. Honestly? The more I play it... The more I like it. The one part at the end with the red light (trying to avoid spoilers) is really dumb especially if you don't know what you're doing but apart from that and some of the bugs this is a pretty fun map with tons of replayability.

There's a glitch. One door under the basement floor is not opening the 2nd time we play. It was fine at first but we lose. Trying it again and the door is not opening at all. The last glyph was in there where we need to use vents.

This map is one of my top favorites! This deserves more recognition. The hints on how to defeat the boss is on the wall writings all through out the map. This map is cool. Hope you make more!

It was fun! Once I figured out the boss's mechanics, it wasn't as difficult as I thought.

I like the glyph hunting, the map is great but the boss takes FOREVER to kill on solo.

map is realy good. i like how it brakes the left 4 dead mold, the Searth quest is kinda Tedios and you can get lost easy. but its still fun but you got to play this with Friends cuz the bots dont realy work on this map. maybe if the nav mech was fix it could probley work well.

在地图各个角落寻找5个字符（按E可交互）解除小巷里的栅栏铁门封印，最后的粪怪的机制2阶段要打破每个发射红外线的白色尖刺，每个白色尖刺都要打很多枪才爆。2.5分给找字符的玩法，2.5分给粪怪的2阶段机制，-5分粪怪打法无提示、粪怪打不死（打了我30分钟了）、粪怪的红外扫射太快不合理（单人游玩最难受）。
最后你知道我怎么过关的吗？我开管理员传送到安全屋里的（不打死粪怪不给进安全屋，有铁栏拦着），本来是一个很好玩的图，但作者的粪怪毁了它！

The boss also felt very clunky. I had a friend helping me shoot it, but it still took about 6 phases to kill. Also it is very confusing on where exactly you need to shoot the boss. The boss bleeds when you shoot it anywhere, but the only way to damage it is to shoot its eye during the first phase, and shooting the red electric spikes on every other phase. Overall I would say if you're looking for a good gameplay experience using Realism or something, I wouldn't recommend it. Otherwise, if you just wanna play like Normal solo or something, then I can see the boss being manageable then.

I thought this would be a fun map to run through on Expert Realism, but it really wasn't. The scarcity of the supplies was okay, given that they were fairly easy to come by given you either knew where they were or just explored even a little. The main issue I have with the first phase is the lack of reliable weapons. Sometimes you can find a military sniper immediately at spawn, other times you'll be lucky to get a SCAR. There's also a strange issue where the director never seems to get mad at us for taking too long. Once you've wiped out the wandering commons, that's pretty much it for the infected... Finding the runes triggers a cutscene, which common infected can still attack you during, which is pretty much a guaranteed incap on Expert.

People seem to forget this map is pretty old and could be this persons first map so it having problem's is expected which is something I would have said back in 2013 but well I ain't this map is shit it should have gotten huge update's from the Creator to fix it but it never did which is fucking stupid it shows how this Creator did not seem to learn from constructive criticism at all

This map is a absolutely travesty to ones psyche and physical being. Its was a annoying repetitive slog trying to find all 5 sigils, some just hidden in corners in rooms. Random ladders that go no where when you think it actually will lead to a sigil. The final boss was a absolute slog that has no redeeming qualities what so ever. It was just a bullet sponge that just pads out the chapter and adds zero difficulty to the ending. The map layout was very trash, backtracking and random buildings that have nothing in them (No Sigils) and some parts going to dead ends. 3/10 Very bad.
