YeehawSeesaw 4. sep. 2015 kl. 16:38

letray6 6. jan. 2014 kl. 13:31

Wagglenak 27. okt. 2013 kl. 6:15
this is not what a snow elf looks like, I know this because their are two on dawnguard
Morgosus 10. mar. 2013 kl. 4:06
also this mod makes avatar and not snow elf lol
Morgosus 10. mar. 2013 kl. 4:06
@igor_madg well, who knows what snow elves were before they were cleared by dwemers, maybe they were too evil (:A. Bow owner in DG) and dwemers were powerful race with automatons, i dont think they would need to destroy snow elves or make slaves. Lets say they weren't making slaves of snow elves.. How did so many falmers get into dwemer ruins.. maybe attack :3
harbringer 21. aug. 2012 kl. 11:23
the one pale crow made is better
Hex 24. juli 2012 kl. 3:55
CONFIRMATION: Snow elves are in the Dawnguard DLC! The look like high elves but their skin and hair are white! If their skin should be any darker skin, it should be gray.
igor_madg 20. juli 2012 kl. 16:36
forget it... i'm stupid, here's what the wiki says xD

They are the descendants of the lost Snow Elves, who have degenerated in temperament and sophistication after centuries of subterranean dwelling and slavery at the hands of the Dwemer.

Well, the Dwemer were a such piece of ♥♥♥♥ cruel race o/
igor_madg 20. juli 2012 kl. 16:34
I tought the "Falmer" were Snow elves... am I wrong?
biljardbal 20. juli 2012 kl. 14:12
not to be stupid or anything, but shouldn't snow elves have a +5/10 in restoration? just being curious
schro 18. juli 2012 kl. 9:40
What if I don't want to be a mindless zombie?
Your Supervisor 16. juli 2012 kl. 23:47
bh211 your first comment isnt lore friendly since falmer in ruins are blind and can only hear so in lore they would not know your one of them
Jannus 11. juli 2012 kl. 22:03
if anyone is working on this make them white like in daaaaawwwwwwnnnnnnggggggguuuuuaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrdddddddddddddddddddddddd
Hom-Sha-Bom 7. juli 2012 kl. 23:39
+10 speech and illusion? So they're supposed to be awesome at persuading and mind control? I wonder how they became enslaved instead of them enslaving the dwemer...
BuddyBeelzebub  [ophavsmand] 1. juli 2012 kl. 13:50
Honestly i dont really mess with this anymore, it was a personaly project i was using for my speach and illusion character whilst still fitting in with the lore of the game (more or less) I just decided to put it here on a whim. I would toatly delagate premmsions to work and publish this over to someone else, and i bet there are better mods then this that add falmmer on the work shop or on nexus.

TUI_tillidie 29. juni 2012 kl. 0:46
Are you gonna alter this to fit with the Live Snow Elves in Dawnguard? They are very pale Altmer
Mashed Potate 30. mar. 2012 kl. 15:53
whereas they may not be "falmer" even though that is their "elf name" what i said earlier should still be in effect, as they are, let's say, sibling species, of a sort
Mashed Potate 30. mar. 2012 kl. 15:31
maybe have like a falmer clan, underground where they will will have a speaking ability that only you understand, as you are one of them
Mashed Potate 30. mar. 2012 kl. 15:30
you should make the falmer peaceful towards you, and you should have a power that has them fight for you for 60 seconds or summons some falmer for 60 seconds or something along those lines, that would be amazing
DigDuggerMcDuggleStein 25. mar. 2012 kl. 9:50
should add snow elf followers
Buckets 6. mar. 2012 kl. 6:34
For me it just looks like a altmer with blue skin, anyone know a fix?
dunner17 5. mar. 2012 kl. 21:01
yeah friendly with falmer would be funny/lore friendly.
Charismagicka 3. mar. 2012 kl. 12:53
I love it! I manage to make my elf look a little like the statue.I have a screen shot if you are interested. I would like them to be a little shorter.
Dúrnaur 3. mar. 2012 kl. 9:56
I really like this idea! Just a few things to improve it:
-Do you think you could make the Snow Elves look like the Falmer Statue in the Dwemer Ruin, Irkngthand?
- The female Snow Elf has the same skin colour has a High Elf.
Appart from these 2 things the idea is really cool
Totemtanz 2. mar. 2012 kl. 23:08
does playing a snow elf makes me friendly to the falmer? lol
Jahoj 1. mar. 2012 kl. 18:24
if u can try to make them look a little more like that statue where u get the "eye of the falmer" now it looks like a high-elf whit a dark-elf skin :/ im gonna wait 4 a uppgrade ;)
keep up the good work!
Aj_the_wizard 27. feb. 2012 kl. 16:54
the falmer were blinded by living underground for 100's of years
Lady A 26. feb. 2012 kl. 0:43
And reading back... Falmer have white skin, yes... but they've lived underground for millenia... Do you know what happens to the skin pigmentation when not seeing sunlight for that long? You guessed it... it goes completely pale; a complete lack of pigmentation... I'm assuming these Snow Elves, before Dwemer enslavement, were perhaps slightly darker skinned, so blue skin doesn't seem completely irrelevant to me.

And no... Falmer are not 'modern day Snow Elves', they're Falmer... Snow Elves twisted and corrupted in to a completely different species near enough, and hav ebeen that way for millenia. The Falmer are grotesque, vile and malign versions of their former selves... There's no way you could call them Snow Elves at all.
Lady A 26. feb. 2012 kl. 0:35
I really do like the idea of this as I've been looking for such a mod since reading the lore in-game, regarding the falmer and how they were once Snow Elves. The concept of playing as the Snow Elves, ones that escaped the enslavement of the Dwemer, has always interested me since I learned of that lore... "What if some of them managed to escape?", "I wonder if there are any alive still, perhaps in a small culture hidden from others". Very, very interesting concept and I hope you continue to improve on it!

Thumbs up, you've got my support.

As for the skill bonuses, speechcraft is certainly a strange bonus to have.. If they've been living in seclusion, hiding from other societies I doubt that having a Speechcraft bonus seems fitting... Perhaps as another suggested, more based towards Alchemy and perhaps enchanting... A race that is geared towards improvements. Just my thoughts!
John Steel 25. feb. 2012 kl. 16:51
Well the idea is intresting but the falmer wernt blinded by drugs they were blinded by whatever event caused the dwemer to vanish
TomarEmerald 25. feb. 2012 kl. 1:52
dear stefan, did you even read what it says? Some of the snow elves hid themselves up, thus not becoming falmer.

dear grailchase, for the same reason, they are NOT falmer, they are snow elves. The falmer adapted to living in the dwemer cities underground and thus it is safe to say, that they look entirely different.

I like the idea of this mod. However, I really don't want to download a race that...has +10 to speech. If anything imperials should have it. I would think these guys were good at enchanting, or making potions. I do like the idea for them to have an active that makes them resistent to damage since they live in harsh snow climes.

I am confused as to what is the passive ability bonus for the race and what is the active ability, please make it more clear in the description for others who come along.

I will just wait to DL when you get to a more finished state. IT looks good so far, ignore people who can't comprehend what they read....if they even read at all!
StefanFr 23. feb. 2012 kl. 9:08
This mod is NOT lore friendly at all! Falmer are "mordern day" Snow elves, make a falmer mod instead!
cam 19. feb. 2012 kl. 15:24
Umm, the females don't get blue skin...and the power doesn't work. Please fix and update.
josephblunt564 19. feb. 2012 kl. 12:19
they have no active effect or race power why not?
grailchaser 18. feb. 2012 kl. 7:50
Why blue skinned? The blind Falmer in the tunnerls aren't blue skinned. I kind of get the Dravidian vibe from the great statue, but then its only in religious illustrations that Dravidians (Southern Indians) are blue.
Yezhanium 18. feb. 2012 kl. 4:55
Avatar! Avatar! Wait... -reads up text- Oh right... Dovahkin! Dovahkin!
BuddyBeelzebub  [ophavsmand] 16. feb. 2012 kl. 12:22
So yah i dropped +5 enchanting in exchange for +10 Illusion.
BuddyBeelzebub  [ophavsmand] 16. feb. 2012 kl. 9:56
Okay i have a early version of the racial stats up. I think i might edit something like getting rid of alchemy or enchanting and add +5 illusion. This would explain how they stayed hidden and it would explain how they managed to help their speech up which wouldn't make since if they had been hiding out. I will probably make a new Calm Of The Snow ability to add before Sunday
Stabbyness 15. feb. 2012 kl. 21:24
Also wonderful idea!
Stabbyness 15. feb. 2012 kl. 21:24
