Still excellent in 2021. No conflict with Morthal Bigger and Bolder. Followers Can Relax works well. Guess Falkreath is going to be Skyrim’s dirtiest city forevermore. Thanks for this awesome immersion.

i forgot that this is a thing

One of the best mods I've ever subscribed to...and I can't even fully explain why. It's just soooooooo satisfying to visit The Winking Skeever and take a melodramatic soak or shower after dealing with bandits or investigating some moldy cavern. The immersion alone is phenomenal!

I love this mod. It's adorable.

It seems like the Markarth showers are broken. I turn the knobs and nothing happens. I've used this mod for a long time and it used to have the water turn on and off. I don't know what could have changed.

Also, this makes me wish there was an option to build a bathroom for your home in hearthfire.

I am but an infant in the world of gaming and have just begun to download mods for skyrim, but so far none have enhanced my experience as much as this. Let me tell you why. I took my extremely surly looking High Elf to Solitude -this man who has ruthlessly slaughtered Thalmor on the roadways because they looked at him funny, stabbed dragons in the butt for kicks and run errands for Daedra- I stripped him down to a loincloth and I made him shower. The sort of dramatic showering you see in films where they just stand and let the water roll off their buff bodies (nobody can see your tears in the rain). Because this wasn't enough yet, I then forced him to sit in a hottub opposite a mostly naked old priest of Arkay, who was eating bread (getting crumbs in the water no doubt) and staring at me, just within range to catch his AI but too far away to activate his NPC lines. When the awkwardness finally became too great and I was forced to depart, the priest scolded me for not wearing clothes.

According to LOOT, this mod is missing two NavMesh records (which tells NPCs where they can and cannot walk). Is this because the Mod changes actor "routines" (i.e. they will patron the bath-houses) or something else?

I suggest combining with Caliente's body mods (nexus version)

in the future would it be possible to move the morthal bathhouse? i love your mod, but it conflicts with Enhanced: morthal. other than that good job making such an awesome mod! :D

I and my husband both have this mod and love it, it adds a nice bit of immersion to the game (He is playing an Argonian and I an Imperial, both lovers of baths =^.^=)

My character's first intention once he escapes from Cidhna Mine is to find that bathhouse and have a good long soak.

Any hope for Windhelm's bathhouse?- reading above, it sounds like it's in disrepair, I've not been to that one yet, but you'd think it would be one of the better ones in Skyrim. Plus, as it's known as the snowiest in Skyrim, soaking in a warm pool of water or hanging out in the steam room would be an excellent way to remove the chill. (Do I sense the modder is an Imperial sympathyzer perhaps? lol :) ).

Same issue as dolphinsong43 with the fps issue in Riften's inn, kind of surprising since it's just a really small steam room & nothing else (unless I missed more, but the desciption doesn't mention more. Imho, I think a small bath would be nicer than the plain steam room- just feedback, no offense intended. Maybe a different location in Riften would let it offer more?).

get a nude mod then i dont think nudity mods are allowed in steam workshop i wouldnt give a shit if it was allowed xD would be funny

um mite be strange but can you make people inside completely naked please

I love this mod. It adds wonderful cultural fluff to the Skyrim world, makes it feel more authentic.

There is no bath or anything just a small room

I downloaded it here, it doesnt work ,unsubscribed then tried nexus, it still didnt work.

Excellent mod, and I applaud the creator for making this lore friendly.

I love this mod. Had it on Nexus but some people say it is better on here. The room you add in the Bee and Barb in Riften though needs to be moved somehwere else or taken out completely as it causes serious issues with FRPS in that bar. I had gone in before and removed it and evereything was fine after, but I can't remember now where I removed it from and such. So if you can do it, that would be great for next update. ;)

2 suggestions, if I may
1-a way to rinse off in the "sauna" bath houses, so we can be really clean using them :-) I'm not saying super luxury pool AT ALL, just maybe a small spout of water over a catch of some sort, since we can't do the real way of go dive into a snowbank. Which, by the way, would be totally awesome if it could be implemented somehow XD
2-it would be cool if we could buy some nice bath herbs or perfume or something from Angeline's Aromatics in Solitude, especially since Angeline enjoys the winking skeever vaporarium and she was all about perfumes and nice scents before the civil war. Maybe using them in the water would give a little speech boost (for perfume) or a health/stamina recovery boost or something :-)

can you add the option to own the bathhouses, for the business characters on here? it could be an amazing investment.

@BlademasterAlex there's nobody up there. The bathhouse would have to be like, in the college.

what about winterhold? they need a bathhouse to keep warm up there

Hey, I was wondering if you would allow me to use the Markarth bathhouse from Northern bathhouses for a mod I am making that will overhaul Markarth, and I would love to include just the Markarth bathhouse with my mod so that the two are compatible, if you will allow me to do so. I am hoping to have my mod added to the Better cities-Skyrim mod project, and a user on their page requested that bathhouses like the ones from NB are added. If you did allow me to use the Markarth bathhouse, you would be fully credited in the description, but your mod would not be required although I would recommend users to get both. great mod but for me there are never any NPCs in any of the bathouses... probably just a glitch.

This REALLY messes with "better cities whiterun" and I love this mod and that mod so if you could some how move the sauna to were there is that little pool above heimskr and his shrine near dragonsreach so the sauna doesent overlap a house.

Would be amazing if the women in the bathhouses would give bjs.

Juha, we're not saying it's "too realistic", we're saying that the comments from the NPC's are unrealistic, and looking for a solution that is reasonable to the environment.
By all means, if you know of any mod that shuts up the NPC's from making those comments, I would sure be grateful for a link :-D

But as a work-around solution, the "fur kilt" has exactly the correct size and shape and placement, AND stops the NPC's from snarking, so if someone put the game's linen texture on it, it would be realistic and functional. As I said, I would but I don't know how. I'm a good builder in the worlds I know, but I lost photoshop when my comp got fried by lightening and I don't know gimp or creation kit at all.

Its funny how people download a mod just for roleplay, and then complain about things that are too realistic. A sauna is a Nord thing OK. Not just Elder Scrolls, but real life.
Its nude place. You dont wear a towel while taking a shower, and not in sauna either. You dont need a swimming pool, if you have a hole in the ice to swim in. If it gets too cold, thats what the sauna is for. And its not some gay-magnet either. The local waterpark, for example, has a common sauna room for men and women, so its not gay in any way. The "put some clothes on" comments are unrealistic, but not the fault of the modder.
Thanks for a good mod that adds -realism- to the game.

To avoid the "put some clothes on" comments from npc's, I have my male char. wear the shirtless fur armor that's basically just a fur kilt. Do you think you could mod a piece of that to be a "bath towel"? I would but I don't know how. :-)

Can you expand the repertoire of the bard in the solitude bathhouse? Mamercus, I think his name is. Please, pretty pretty please with sugar an' a cherry on top, include more songs using that voice! He sings the songe so perfectly and the actor's voice is so well trained, that age of agression and dragonborn comes, actually become wonderful to listen to! Pleeeeease add moresongstothe bard using that vocie, if at all humanly (or inhumanly?) possible thanks XD

just one thing: this mod seems to screw up morthal navmesh, npc's don't get past the cell it's in anymore, thaumaturgist never gets to hut etc, could you pls do stg about this?

Although this is an excellent start, it would be nice to have A- a shower of some sort in each one,a simplestream offalling water works great B-more steam in the steamrooms and C a female bard in the solitude baths XD

Hey clowdee, there's a mod for people to stop sniping at you for being naked all the time or even in the bathhouse too. I have had it in my mods for a l-o-o-o-o-ng time now. As a matter of fact, when my char feels like getting crazy and just going out in her slinky thigh high boots and weapons and nothing else, not one person will say a word to her...Not even the guards or Jarls.

Love it! Just wish falkreath had one as well. and maybe the college of winterhold?
