I recently updated the model, but used a decompiled version as the original source is now gone. This might help with some addons and makes it compatible with outfitter, but the model isn't perfect even before this update.

I'm not very familiar with Garry's Mod so I have no idea how to get the attacks to work. Can anyone assist me with this? I tried running the commands via the console but it gave me script errors so I assume I'm doing something wrong

Some suggestions if you're taking them -

An upload of the buster sword with this run would be dope (Kind of like the Samurai Jack sword, how it has a block, but maybe add a fire ball attack for R?)

Hey fam. Thanks for all the feedback. I might port over some other models in similar fashion, but I do want to mention the source file for this model has been lost to the void. I won't be able to fix it well, but I can try to recreate the QC later on and fix some of it's problems I can see happening with a later fix.

We really need more compatibility weapon-wise so this playermodel IS the playermodel of our dreams. Noclip is obv att_super_omnislash_charge, and I believe physgun and toolgun should be att_fire_1. I've messed around with this PM in PAC3, and I can say, some of these animations are really promising as arm-workings (besides crowbar), But this probably took alot of effort, so I won't ask for too much. I just wish it had more compatibility with other holdtypes. :steamhappy:

I have to check on that, Xpert.

As for a normal playermodel, I haven't done rigging at all, I used the original bones from the game. To rig it up to the normal player model, I'd also have to remove the sword from his hand. I'll try and see if I have time to do it, but it probably won't happen very soon.

Thank you. The IK is purposefully like that, but I need to tweak it a bit, yeah. I also gotta check the Crouching too, never caught that.

As for the scaling, it's actually scaled by 50.0 since the model itself is tiny compared to the source engine. I could lower that number a bit no problem and get him up to size.

This actually has a lot of potential to lead into something interesting.

Feedback
-You might wanna scale down the model. Cloud is ginormous compared to almost all other models, it shouldn't be too hard to scale down the model (from my experience at least).

-Cloud doesn't stay crouched when he has the Crowbar taken out.

-It might be the IK rig doing it, but Cloud's feet enjoy sticking to the ground quite a lot: http://i.imgur.com/krxFRhA.png

I'm going to keep tabs on this and maybe pry it open to examine it myself. It's a unique playermodel.

You do realize decompiling a model, especially one like this, won't yield accurate results, right? That, and I already set it up to be used with the no-hands holdtype. If you need this for something or need it for a specific holdtype, just ask me/friend me.

Atleast make this compatible with the Crowbar.
All the animations for attacks aren't able to be used for the holdtype "primary attack".

Probably not maybe who knows. I am planning on making my own animations for a sword-fighting mod soonish for the valve skeleton. It's my first time actually animating though, so hopefully I can do something.
