im using old skyrim from steam, not the legendary edition or special edition.
and i also have downloaded about 50 mods from steamworkshop, and 10-15 manually from nexus.
no conflicts whatsoever.
after having used about 10 minutes fiddling with setting, my game is now perfect thanks to this mod.

I would still recommend to use the Nexus version which is more advanced, altough the Steam version is usable:

All in all, great work and great taste on how to improve the graphic effects.
When you apply a preset manually, it will revert, when day time changes or when you enter or leave an interior cell. It's meant to be used in an ambient like a dwemer ruin, where you stay a long time.
But this mod is outdated on Steam, the newest and better version you can find here:
